The actor is gearing up for the much-anticipated Border 2, Lahore 1947, and the epic saga Ramayana: Part One and Two, each carrying immense box office potential and promising to extend Sunny's winning streak. ## Having recently wrapped up the shoot of Border 2, Sunny is all set to begin filming for Ramayana in the coming weeks. Amidst this packed schedule, a new report from Pinkvilla confirms that the actor has signed yet another major film, this time with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment. ## Sunny Deol and the Excel team have reportedly been in talks for a while regarding a high-octane, big-budget action thriller. The report says the things are almost finalised, marking the first-ever collaboration between Sunny Deol and Excel Entertainment. Ranveer Singh's 'Don 3' Not Shelved

Mumbai, February 27 - It's been more than a year since Farhan Akhtar announced Don 3 with Ranveer Singh in the lead role, replacing superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The movie, however, has faced challenges which led to rumours of its getting shelved. ## Ranveer Singh hasn't been in the best of form at the box office and there is negativity around his casting for the role of Don which delays the production. Over the past few months, there have been rumours that Don 3 has been shelved, but director Akhtar has an exciting update for the fans. ## During a recent interview with India Today, Farhan Akhtar put rumours to rest and confirmed that the movie is on and starting shooting this year itself. Mumbai, May 16 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will no longer be a part of Farhan Akhtar's beloved action thriller franchise Don as the actor has reportedly exited the third installment. ## A few days ago, producer Ritesh Sidhwani confirmed in an interview that Farhan Akhtar has been working on the script of "Don 3" and the official announcement regarding the same will be made soon once the script is locked with Shah Rukh Khan returning to the lead. ## Now, according to Pinkvilla, SRK has exited the franchise as the script of the third installment wasn't in the line King Khan wants to do in the future. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's 'Karna' To Be Made In Two-Parts

Mumbai, September 14 - Last year, it was reported that filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has been working on a mythological epic based on Mahabharat's key character Karna. The director reportedly had approached Shahid Kapoor to play this iconic role, however, things seem to have changed since then. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, Shahid Kapoor has backed out from this magnum opus, and now, the makers are looking for new actors to play Karna. It is also revealed that the movie will be split into two parts and Mehra is writing this film along with veteran author Anand Neelakantan accordingly. ## "The subject and characters are so vast and complicated that he (Rakeysh Mehra) believes one film can not justify Karna's story.
