Director Boyapati Srinu Confirms His Next Two Films With Superstar Allu Arjun and Suriya

Hyderabad, October 7 - Telugu mass filmmaker, Boyapati Srinu scored a massive hit with Nandamuri Balakrishna in the form of "Akhanda" in 2021. However, the director couldn't repeat the same success with his next movie "Skanda" with Ram Pothineni. The movie is currently playing in theatres and heading towards being an average affair at the box office.## Despite being unable to repeat "Akhanda's" success with "Skanda", Boyapati remains in hot demand as he has confirmed his next three films. During a recent media interaction, the ultra mass director confirmed that he would be teaming up with Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and Tamil star Suriya for his next two films.## It is not yet clear which film he will take first. Allu Arjun is currently shooting for "Pushpa 2", and he will next be reuniting with Trivikram Srinivas and then also has an announced film with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Suriya, on the other hand, is shooting for "Kanguva", and will next be reuniting with Sudha Kongara. The actor is also reportedly in talks to headline the mega Bollywood project "Karna" under the direction of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.## It will be the first time that both Boyapati and Suriya will team up for a film project. With Allu Arjun, the filmmaker previously collaborated for "Sarrainodu" (2016) which was a big box office hit. Vetrimaaran Drops A Big Update On Suriya's 'Vaadivaasal'

Chennai, June 27 - Tamil director Vetrimaaran's highly-awaited film "Vaadivaasal" with superstar Suriya has been in the news ever since it was announced a long time back. However, even after so much time passed since the announcement, the movie hasn't rolled out yet. ## The film was announced a few years back and a test shoot with Suriya also happened several months back. It was supposed to go on floors in 2022 but due to Vetrimaaran's "Viduthalai", the shoot got delayed. Now, the filmmaker has provided a much-awaited update on the same and confirmed that it will go on floors soon. ## During a recent interview, Vetrimaaran stated that the pre-production work for "Vaadivaasal" is underway in London. The entire moments of the bulls that have to perform with Suriya have been scanned and transferred to high-end computers. ## The director said that he will start shooting for "Vaadivaasal" soon after completing the remaining shoot of "Viduthalai - Part 2" starring Vijay Sethupathi and Soori. Mumbai, June 12 - In 2021, it was revealed that director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra was working on his dream project "Karna", based on one of the most complex characters of the epic Mahabharata. The movie went to many actors but things didn't work out and the movie was put on hold. ## Now, the latest reports suggest that the much-awaited project is back on track with a new actor. According to Pinkvilla, director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is in advanced talks with Tamil superstar Suriya to play this larger-than-life role. ## It is said that Suriya and Mehra already had multiple meetings and things are moving in the right direction quickly. The movie will be made in two parts and Suriya is said to be super excited to be a part of this magnum opus project. ## The film is expected to go on floors in 2024 after Suriya completes director Siva's Pan India movie "Kanguva" which is nearing its completion and Sudha Kongara's next which is expected to go on floors later this year. There have been a lot of speculations about his next film as some reports state that he would be doing director Narthan's next, but, there is no confirmed development on the same yet. ## While the speculation about Yash's next is building up, the latest development suggests the actor has been offered two Bollywood biggies to headline them. According to Pinkvilla, director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra will helm Excel Entertainment's epic Karna and the makers have approached Yash to play this iconic Mahabharta character.## Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment distributed Yash's "KGF 2" in Hindi, and the report says that the studio wants to rope the actor for "Karna". ## Apart from "Karna", the Pan India superstar has also reportedly offered to play the character of Dev in director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part 2 - Dev, which will be produced by Dharma Productions in association with Disney. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's 'Karna' To Be Made In Two-Parts

Mumbai, September 14 - Last year, it was reported that filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has been working on a mythological epic based on Mahabharat's key character Karna. The director reportedly had approached Shahid Kapoor to play this iconic role, however, things seem to have changed since then. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, Shahid Kapoor has backed out from this magnum opus, and now, the makers are looking for new actors to play Karna. It is also revealed that the movie will be split into two parts and Mehra is writing this film along with veteran author Anand Neelakantan accordingly. ## "The subject and characters are so vast and complicated that he (Rakeysh Mehra) believes one film can not justify Karna's story. Baahubali, KGF, and Pushpa's success have further boosted the maker's confidence to experiment with a multi-part format", read the report. ## Meanwhile, this mega project will now reportedly be produced by Farhan Akhtar under his banner Excel Entertainment. It was earlier supposed to be produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP Movies. The actor is now looking to set up his future projects. ## Shahid Kapoor already has Ali Abbas Zafar's action thriller film, tentatively titled "Bloody Daddy", and now, according to the latest reports, the "Kabir Singh" star has signed on to producer Dinesh Vijan's next film, which is a unique love story. ## According to a Pinkvilla report, Shahid Kapoor and Dinesh Vijan have been discussing the project for some time now and finally coming together for the first time. The actor has loved a subject and already signed the dotted lines. Mumbai, December 5 - Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor's stars shining bright at present as the Kabir Singh actor will be headlining at least 5 titles, including theatrical and OTT. Shahid Kapoor To Lead T Series & Guilty By Association's 'Bull'

Mumbai, October 21 - It was recently reported that actor Shahid Kapoor would be teaming up with producer Bhushan Kumar again after their blockbuster outing "Kabir Singh". The latest development is that the movie has been titled "Bull", which is set in the 1980s and inspired by events from the life of Brigadier Bulsara.## "Bull" will jointly be produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Amar Butala and Garima Mehta's Guilty By Association. Keeping the trend going, producers, Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani recently announced the Hindi remake of Tamil hit, Thadam. The movie went through casting changes as Sidharth Malhotra opted out of the project and Aditya Roy Kapur stepped in as the lead. ## While Sidharth Malhotra was out of the project, Mrunal Thakur remained attached to this project from the very beggning. The makers have now reconfirmed her appearance as the female lead in the movie. Mrunal will play a fiery cop in the actioner that revolves around two lookalikes who are the primary suspects in a murder case. ## "When I heard the story, I instantly knew that I needed to be a part of this film. My character is intriguing, and playing a cop has been on my checklist.
