Yash Raj Films Responds To Accusations Of Using Delhi's Missing People Report As Paid Promotions For Mardaani 3

Mumbai, February 7 - Yash Raj Films' third instalment of Mthe ardaani franchise, fronted by Rani Mukerji, Mardaani 3 recently hit the big screens amid decent buzz. The film focuses on the missing girl issue in the country, and it has invited sharp reactions across social media platforms. Since the last few days, several videos, allegedly citing Delhi Police data, claiming that over 800 people, including children and women, have gone missing in the National Capital between January 1 and 15, 2026, have been circulated on social media, causing panic and fear among the public. The claims are being circulated amid Mardaani 3 is playing in theatres. After this, many people on X criticised Yash Raj Films for creating panic among the people to generate attention for its movie, Mardaani 3. YRF, however, denied the allegations of circulating fake data. Following Delhi Police's tweet, a YRF spokesperson told ANI, "Yash Raj Films is a 50-year-old company founded on the core principles of being highly ethical and transparent. We strongly deny the accusations floating on social media that Mardaani 3’s promotional campaign has deliberately sensationalised a sensitive issue like this. We have immense trust in our authorities that they will share all facts and truths in due course of time".
