Aditya Dhar's 'The Immortal Ashwatthama' Is Back On Track With Allu Arjun In Talks To Headline
Mumbai, May 12 - It looks like director Aditya Dhar is hellbent on making his dream project The Immortal Ashwatthama a reality. Despite the continued setbacks, the filmmaker is leaving no stone unturned to make this big-budget epic happen, and in this process, the project seems to have gotten another life. ## Recently, it was reported that "The Immortal Ashwatthama" was put on hold by Jio Studios indefinitely over budget issues, but now, as per the latest reports, the studio and Dhar are in early talks with superstar Allu Arjun to revive this. ## According to Pinkvilla, "The filmmaker and top officials at Jio Studios are in talks with Allu Arjun to play the lead. The conversations are in the initial stages at the moment, and Allu has shown some interest in the unique and ambitious world of the film".## The report further states that a couple of meetings between Allu Arjun and the makers have already taken place over the last few months. The movie is ambitious and the involvement of AA will definitely take to the next year if things materialize which remains to see.## Allu Arjun, meanwhile, has his hands full of blockbuster titles. He is currently shooting for the highly-awaited "Pushpa - The Rule" and also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga's next along with Trivikram Srinivas' movie. ## Stay tuned...
