Mumbai, January 24 - The third Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man movie, "No Way Home" is marching alone at the worldwide box office. This Tom Holland-fronted has been unstoppable since its debut in theaters in December last year. ## After becoming the 4th highest-grossing domestic (North America) film, "No Way Home" has now become the 6th all-time highest-grosser at the worldwide box office. The superhero movie was at number 8 till the last weekend and broke into the top six after passing "Jurassic World" ($1.67B) and "The Lion King" ($1.662B), through 6th Sunday with a $1.69 billion global cume. ## The Jon Watts-directed has so far grossed $970.1 million at the international box office and $721 million domestically. At the domestic box office, it is eyeing to finish at number 3 after its entire box office run. Meanwhile, it will become only the 6th film to gross $1 billion overseas by the end of next weekend, that too without a single penny from China, which is the biggest movie market in the world. ## The United Kingdom is leading "Spider-Man: No Way Home's" overseas run with $116.9 million, followed by Mexico with $73.4 million. Los Angeles, Jan 21 (IANS) Network Apple has ordered a live-action Godzilla series from Legendary Television. ## According to Variety, the untitled series continues the story of the Legendary Monsterverse established in films like 'Kong: Skull Island' and 2014's 'Godzilla'. ## Following the battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and the shocking new reality that monsters are real, the series explores one family's journey to uncover its buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organisation known as Monarch. ## Monarch is a secret government entity that has played a major role in the Monsterverse franchise, working to cover up the existence of and defend the world from creatures like Godzilla and the other Titans. ## Chris Black and Matt Fraction co-created the series with both executive producing. Black will also serve as showrunner. Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell of Safehouse Pictures will also executive produce along with Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita of Toho Co. Ltd. New Film Studio To Be Built In Space By 2024

Los Angeles, Jan 20 (IANS) Space Entertainment Enterprise (S.E.E), the company co-producing Tom Cruise's upcoming space movie, plans to launch a sports arena and production studio in space by 2024. ## S.E.E. has unveiled plans to build a space station module that contains a sports and entertainment arena as well as a content studio by December 2024, reports variety.com. ## Named SEE-1, the module is intended to host films, television, music and sports events as well as artists, producers and creatives who want to make content in the low orbit, micro-gravity environment. The facilities will enable development, production, recording, broadcasting and livestreaming of content. ## S.E.E. intend to produce its own content and events in the module as well as making it available to third-parties. ## Axiom Space, who in January 2022 won NASA's approval to build a commercial component of the International Space Station (ISS), will undertake the construction of SEE-1. The module will dock on Axiom's commercial arm, named Axiom Station, which will also host other commercial ventures, including space tourism. ## Axiom Station will then separate from the ISS in 2028. ## S.E.E., which was co-founded in the UK by entrepreneurs and producers Elena and Dmitry Lesnevsky, is currently planning a fundraising round. ## "SEE-1 is an incredible opportunity for humanity to move into a different realm and start an exciting new chapter in space," said Dmitry and Elena Lesnevsky in a statement. ## "It will provide a unique, and accessible home for boundless entertainment possibilities in a venue packed with innovative infrastructure which will unleash a new world of creativity. Mumbai, January 18 - Marvel/Sony Pictures' "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is setting new benchmarks at the domestic as well as the international box office. The superhero movie is heading towards a $1 billion overseas box office, that too without a single penny from China. ## The Tom Holland-fronted film has so far grossed $926.3 million through 63 international markets and over $700 million domestically (North America), pushing global cume to $1.62 billion. It is currently the 8th highest-grossing film of all time at the worldwide box office and will grab the 6th spot in the list by the end of next weekend.## Meanwhile, "No Way Home" has become the highest-grossing film of all time in Mexico with $72 million. In Brazil, it is the second highest-grossing film ever with $50.4 million, so in Central America ($12.6M) and Ecuador ($7.9M).## In North America, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" becomes the 4th highest-grossing film ever. After the end of the 5th weekend, it was the 5th biggest-grosser there with $698.7 million and became 4th biggest on Monday by crossing Marvel Studios' "Black Panther" ($700.06 million). ## The Jon Watts-directed is likely to finish with $1.75 billion globally. Los Angeles, Jan 18 (IANS) Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for its Disney Plus series 'Moon Knight' and it has a new superhero played by actor Oscar Isaac.## The teaser was unveiled on Monday night, officially launching the 2022 slate for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, reports variety.com.## In 'Moon Knight' premiering on March 30, Isaac plays Marc Spector, a former soldier with a profound case of dissociative identity disorder that manifests as fully distinct individuals. He becomes the conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu, which only further exacerbates Marc's anxiety over his mental illness.## In the trailer, set to Kid Cudi's 'Day an' Night', Marc can't tell the difference between his normal life and his dreams. He plays with a Rubik's cube, unable to fall asleep, only to jump out of bed in a panic with his foot chained to his bed, though he seemingly forgets he was the one who restrained himself the night before. Slasher Movie 'Scream' Ends Four-Week Reign Of 'Spider-Man'
