YRF and Superstar Akshay Kumar To Hold The Special Screening of Prithviraj For Home Minister Amit Shah

Mumbai, May 24 - The next event film from the Hindi film industry "Prithviraj" is gearing up for the mega release on the 3rd of June 2022. Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, Prithiviraj is a historical action drama directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. ## Prithiviraj is based on Prithviraj Raso, a Braj language epic poem about the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, a Rajput king from the Chahamana dynasty. The movie was announced a long time back by producer Sajid Nadiadwala. However, he is now not a part of this film and Salman Khan is bankrolling this project. ## Since the development within the film is consistently grabbing the media headlines, director Farhad Samji is not affected by all this and said that all the rumors about the movie will be put to rest at the right time. Despite taking fewer days as compared to his contemporary, Akshay remains the most versatile actor who has performed every character with perfection.## Akshay is now gearing up for the release of magnum opus "Prithviraj", which he shot his portion in just 42 days. Being a historical action drama film, many believe that Akshay should have taken more days to complete his part and that he is not dedicated to the character. ## During a recent interview with Firstpost, Akshay talked about completing the movie in such a short period and said that became possible because of the well-planned strategy of the director and his research of the character. ## "Talking about finishing films early, do you know how much time Tom Cruise completed Mission Impossible which is one of the biggest action films? Anees Bazmee Confirms Developing The Script of 'F2' Remake For Producer Boney Kapoor

Mumbai May 23 - Director Anees Bazmee is one of the top names in the Hindi film industry and has delivered hits like No Entry, Welcome, Sing Is King, and Ready, among others. There is one more film going to find its place on his hit list Kartik Aaryan's "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2". ## The sequel to Priyadarshan's 2007's horror-comedy featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" opened last Friday and took the biggest opening for Kartik and went on to register a blockbuster weekend with Rs 55+ crores. The success of BB2 is winning praise for Bazmee who has delivered another hit despite the difficult circumstances for the industry. ## The director will now be moving to another sequel to his superhit film "No Entry" (2005). Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan will be returning as the lead trio and the shooting for the same will commence later this year. Akshay Kumar Opens Up On 'Bachchhan Paandey' Failure And Doing Remakes of South Indian Movies

Mumbai, May 22 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has opened up on the failure of his recent movie, "Bachchhan Paandey". The failure of the movie did shock the film industry as Akshay is one of the biggest stars in the country and has had one of the best success ratios among the top-tier actors. ## During a recent interview with IndiaToday, Akshay was asked about "Bachchan Pandey" and whether its failure has affected his choices. For the unversed, BP is the remake of the 2014 Tamil film "Jigarthanda". ## "Dealing with failure is the same. I've not just had 13-14 flops, there was again a time in the middle where my 8-9 films flopped. I always say you can feel bad for a flop from Friday to Sunday, on Monday you have to pick yourself up and go do another film and be very happy on the set. You can't carry around your sad face everywhere", Akshay said. ## During the covid-19 pandemic, the Hindi remakes of South Indian movies haven't worked at the box office as the audience is already exposed to the dubbed versions of those films, thanks to the TV and OTT revolution. It has been made perception that Bollywood shouldn't do remakes, however, Akshay thinks otherwise. The "Sooryavanshi" actor believes that there is no problem in remaking a good movie. ## "I was recently questioned why I am doing two remakes. To which I say, why shouldn't I? What is the problem with it? My 'Oh My God' was remade in Telugu, the film worked here as well as there, I did their 'Rowdy Rathore', it worked there as well as here. So, why does anyone have an issue with that? If there is a good south Indian film and we are taking the rights and remaking here, what's the issue? Box Office: Bhool Bhulaiyaa First Sunday Early Estimates; Blockbuster Day At The Box Office

Mumbai, May 22 - Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is moving towards a blockbuster day at the box office as the early estimated collections are set to be around 23-24 crores net box office collections which is an extraordinary number for a mid-sized film. The collections are simply phenomenal in all the circuits with Mumbai being the best followed by Delhi and then Banglore. South Indian Filmmakers Have Raised The Status Of Indian Cinema, Says Karan Johar

Mumbai, May 22 - The trailer of the upcoming comedy-drama film, "Jug Jugg Jeeyo" was launched on May 22 amid much fanfare in Mumbai. Directed by Raj Mehta ("Good Newwz"), the movie stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani in the leading roles. ## During the trailer launch event, producer Karan Johar was asked to comment on the ongoing Bollywood vs South Indian film industry debate. Karan Johar, who has produced some South Indian films, admitted that the South filmmakers have indeed raised the standard of Indian cinema and that he is very proud of it. ## "When we talk about films like Pushpa (The Rise), RRR, and KGF (Chapter 2) doing good business, we can truly say that this is Indian Cinema. I can say I am proud of Indian cinema as a whole. They have raised the status of Indian cinema. Rajamouli sir, Sukumar, and KGF makers have all told us how far we can go and how much we can do, they have truly raised our standards", he said. ## "Gangubai Kathiawadi has done such good business and now Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has kicked off a massive opening.
