Big Updates On Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra 2' And Hrithik Roshan's 'Fighter'
Mumbai, October 21 - Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan's recent release Vikram Vedha won critical acclaim and audience appreciation, however, the movie underperformed at the box office despite grossing over 130 crores worldwide in three weeks.## Hrithik is now gearing up to start shooting for his next, titled Fighter with director Siddharth Anand with whom he previously worked in "Bang Bang", and "War". "Fighter" is India's first aerial action thriller and it starts this November 15.## Now, according to Pinkvilla, the makers of "Fighter" have got the leading company, Double Negative (DNEG) on board to do the VFX on the film, which is touted to be visually spectacular. DNEG, which has won multiple Oscars, won some high praise for its stunning VFX work on director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One - Shiva, which grossed over 430 crores worldwide. ## "Fighter is a visual spectacle with some aerial action sequences, which will be one of its kind experience for the Indian audience. The team is clear to mount the film on a certain scale and hence, they have decided to rope in the best VFX company in India", reports Pinkvilla. ## Meanwhile, there is a big update on Ayan Mukerji's "Brahmastra" sequel. As per reports, Disney has reportedly green-lit Brahmastra Part 2 - Dev and is in the process of allotting a budget for the movie with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The sequel will be led by Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Deepika Padukone, and the actor will play the title role of Dev. DNEG will be doing VFX work on Brahmastra 2 as well. ## Stay tuned...
