Diljit Dosanjh Joins Farmers Protest, Donated Rs 1 Crore To Buy Winter-Wear For Protesting Farmers
Popular Punjabi and Bollywood Singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has been very vocal about the ongoing farmers' protest against the new three farm laws passed by the central government. The Good Newwz actor also joined the protest against farm laws at the Delhi border and show his support for the farmers. ## Addressing the farmers at the Singhu border, he said, "Hats off to all of you farmers, you have created a new history. This history would be narrated to future generations. Farmers' issues shouldn't be diverted by anyone". ## Now, apart from standing head to head with protesting farmers, the singer-actor has lent financial support to farmers and has donated Rs. 1 crore to buy warm clothes for the protesters. However, it was Punjabi singer Singga, who revealed Dosanjh's contribution via his Instagram stories.## Expressing his gratitude, Singga said in Punjabi, "Thank you brother, you gave Rs 1 crore for the farmers, for their warm clothes, and nobody knows. You didn't post about it.
