'Kalki 2898 AD' Set For Record Opening In North America For An Indian Film

Los Angeles, June 26 - The stage is set for Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD to take an earth-shattering opening at the domestic and worldwide box office. As per the projection, the sci-fi epic is aiming to open in the range of 200 crores gross globally. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is expected to shatter many records, and one of them is the opening in North America. 'Kalki 2898 AD' Sells Over 1 Million Tickets For Opening Day; Creates All-Time Opening Day Pre-Sales Record In Hyderabad

Mumbai, June 25 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD becomes the first Indian movie of 2024 to sell over 1.8 million tickets for the opening day with a few hours still left for the release and the final ticket count will be over 2 million.## The advance booking gross collection of Kalki is 56+ crores (including block seats) for the first day and it will finish around 60 crores gross before the first show begins which will be among the biggest pre-sales ever for an Indian title. ## The Telugu version is leading the advance booking collection of the sci-fi epic with 40+ crores gross so far, followed by the Hindi version with 7+ crores gross. Mumbai, June 22 - No actor from South India has dominated the North India box office more than Prabhas, arguably the biggest Indian star at the Pan India level. He has been one of the major reasons for popularizing the term, Pan India in the modern era. ## There have been 9 South Indian films to enter the 100 crores net club in Hindi language and 5 of them are headlined by Prabhas. Hyderabad, June 19 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD has completed censorship formalities with just over a week left for the release.
