Hyderabad, August 30 - Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD is getting bigger and bigger with each passing day on the casting front. Recently, Dulquer Salmaan seemingly confirmed to be a part of the movie which delighted the fans Now, according to the latest reports, arguably India's biggest director, SS Rajamouli is also playing a key role in the film which also feature Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in prominent role. ## It is said that Rajamouli will be playing a very important role in "Kalki 2898 AD" aka "Project K", however, makers haven't confirmed that same yet. Hyderabad, August 25 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's highly-awaited Pan India movie "Pushpa - The Rule" release date has reportedly been locked. Directed by Sukumar, the film is the second part of "Pushpa - The Rise" which is the highest-grossing film of the actor with a worldwide gross collection of over 360 crores. ## The film is currently in the production stage and according to Aakashavaani, the makers have locked a March 22, 2024, release date in multiple languages. It will be released two weeks before superstar Jr. NTR's Pan India movie "Devara" which is slated for April 5, 2024, release.## "Pushpa 2" is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. However, in-between raining blockbusters, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi's "Bholaa Shankar" disappointed big time and registered a low opening weekend at the domestic as well as global box office.## Directed by Meher Ramesh, "Bholaa Shankar" was expected to continue the winning run for Chiranjeevi after the big blockbuster success of "Waltair Veerayya" earlier this year. But it was not the case as "Bholaa Shankar" recorded one of the lowest weekend collections for the superstar in recent times.## "Bhola Shankar" grossed approx. 36 crores worldwide, including just 5 crores at the overseas box office over the 3-day weekend. Domestically, the movie grossed 31 crores approx., including approx. 21.75 crores share collection in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana).## The AK Entertainments and Creative Commercials' production venture needs to gross at least 125 crores worldwide to reach the break-even target, for which, the movie needs a miracle which is not looking to happen. Hyderabad, August 10 - One of the biggest Telugu hits of 2012, "Businessman" starring Mahesh Babu was re-released in cinemas on August 9, 2023, and shattered all the records at the box office. The movie is directed by blockbuster director Puri Jagannadh and it also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj in prominent roles.## "Businessman" has had a decent re-release which is on par with a low-budget Telugu movie as far as showcasing is concerned. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's Pan India Movie 'Devil' Gets The Release Date

Hyderabad, August 6 - Telugu actor Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's much-awaited period action drama film "Devil" confirmed its release date. The movie is directed by Naveen Medaram and produced by Abhishek Nama under the banner of Abhishek Pictures. ## "Devil" was announced in July 2021 with the first look poster and since then, it has been in production. Now, after more than two years, the makers have confirmed its release date to surprise the fans. The movie will be hitting theaters worldwide on November 24, 2023, in multiple languages, including Hindi.## The film, written by Pushpa writer Srikanth Vissa, will depict an unwritten chapter from history with Nandamuri portraying a secret agent named Devil. The story dates back to 1945 and is set in the backdrop of the Madras Residency Of British India. ## The makers recently released the first look glimpse of the film and it received a blockbuster response with positive talks all around. The actor recently officially announced his maiden Telugu movie "Double iSmart" with director Puri Jagannadh. ## "Double iSmart", which is the sequel to "iSmart Shankar", will see Ram Pothineni reprising his lead role. Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej's 'Bro' Crashes Badly On Its First Monday

Hyderabad, August 1 - Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej's fantasy comedy film, "Bro" crashed badly on its first Monday after the good opening weekend collection. The drop on Monday is so bad that it has almost sealed the fate of the movie which needs to score at least 150 crores gross worldwide to break even. ## Directed by Samuthirakani, "Bro" grossed just 4.55 crores domestically on Monday, a sharp huge 77.22% drop from Sunday collection. The total domestic gross collection of the movie stands at approx. 80 crores, including approx. 70 crores in the two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). The AP-TG gross includes approx. 47 crores share collection while the movie need to score approx. 81 crores share to break even which is looking unlikely now.## The overseas collection of "Bro" is approx. 12 crores in 4 days, and allied to the domestic total, the worldwide gross of the movie stands at approx. 92 crores. It is heading towards finishing as the lowest-grossing film of Pawan Kalyan post the covid-19 pandemic though it has become the highest-grossing film for Sai Dharam Tej, beating his recent blockbuster "Virupaksha" which gross approx. 89 crores worldwide.## The last three films, including "Bro", of Pawan Kalyan were remakes and none of the films could reach break-even. Though "Vakeel Saab" and "Bheemla Nayak" managed to come close to their target and emerged as moderate successes for the investors. Pawan Kalyan is playing a supporting role in the movie still he pulled up a massive crowd in cinemas on the opening day. ## Directed by Samuthirakani, "Bro" grossed a huge approx. 32 crores gross (excl. hires), including approx. 23.60 crores share collection in the two Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
