Mumbai, April 9 - Legendary director Ram Gopal Varma and actor Manoj Bajpayee are set to reunite for a spine-chilling horror-comedy, a genre which neither of them has done in the past. The film has been titled Police Station Mein Bhoot, and this marks their first collaboration since Shool (1999). Taking to the social media platform X, Ram Gopal Varma announced the film and wrote, "After Satya, Kaun and Shool, I am thrilled to announce that me and Manoj Bajpayee are once again teaming up for a horror-comedy, a genre which neither of us did. I have done horror, gangster, romantic, political dramas, adventure capers, thrillers, etc., but never a horror-comedy. The film is titled Police Station Mein Bhoot. Tag line: You can't kill the dead". Sharing the film's concept, Varma wrote, "We run to the police when scared, but where will the police run to, when they get scared?" The filmmaker further shared the story idea and added, "After a deadly encounter, a police station becomes a haunted station, making all the cops run in fear to escape the ghosts of the gangsters. Chennai, April 9 - Thala Ajith Kumar's highly anticipated Good Bad Ugly gears for a massive start at the box office. The movie is being seen as a big comeback for the actor after the debacle performance of his last movie, Vidaamuyarchi, which was released in February this year. ## Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly is slated to hit the screens on April 10 in multiple languages and the advances for the same are strong, especially in the home state, Tamil Nadu. As per the latest pre-sales trend, the film has crossed 15 crores gross collection for the opening day which is currently among the top 5 in Tamil Nadu. ## The overall advance booking for Good Bad Ugly is nearing 18+ crores gross mark in India for the first day, while the same is around 35 crores, including 28+ crores in Tamil Nadu for the 4-day opening weekend, which is fantastic. ## The final pre-sales of the film are expected to finish in the top 3, which will put it on track for a 30+ crores gross opening in Tamil Nadu. Sunny Deol's 'Jaat' Censor Certificate And Theatrical Runtime Revealed

Mumbai, April 9 - After the historic success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol has teamed up with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni for his next film Jaat. The movie, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, is slated to hit the big screens on April 10. ## Ahead of the much-awaited release, the makers cleared the censorship formalities on April 8. The film has officially been censored with U/A (16+) by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an approved theatrical runtime of 2 hours and 33 minutes (153 minutes). ## As per reports, the CBFC has asked to make 22 changes, including replacing abusive words and replacing as many as 10 scenes with CGI. Due to changes, 2 minutes and 6 seconds of scenes were cut and replaced with appropriate visuals, totalling 1 minute and 37 seconds.## The official plot summary of Jaat reveals, "In a remote coastal village, ruthless criminal Varadaraja Ranatunga terrorizes the locals. A traveling stranger's chance encounter with his men uncovers the villagers' suffering. Realizing the deep-rooted corruption, he takes matters into his own hands. Armed with truth and justice, he sets out for a final confrontation with Ranatunga".## Jaat stars Sunny Deol in the title role alongside Regina Cassandra in the female lead and Randeep Hooda as the main antagonist. Now, according to the latest Telugu media report, the movie is gearing up to hit the big screens on July 24, 2025, worldwide. With this, the total collection of the film is around 90 crores after 5 days, and the 7-day week is heading towards 100 crores net. ## The movie is likely to hit a century on Saturday, but keep the record of Salman Khan intact post-pandemic, but it is no longer a milestone to brag about for a movie featuring one of the biggest stars of the country. Mumbai, April 3 - Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan is gearing up for back-to-back films with producer Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The actor has Johar's Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, slated to hit screens on Valentine's Day 2026, and has now signed one more film with the blockbuster producer. ## According to the latest reports, Kartik will be doing a high-concept creature comedy film, which will be produced by Karan Johar and Mahaveer Jain. Fukrey fame Mrigdeep Singh Lamba has written the script, and he will be directing this mega-budget film. The makers are looking to lock a newcomer to play the female lead role. ## Meanwhile, according to the report by Bollywood Hungama, the yet untitled movie was initially offered to superstar Akshay Kumar. The actor had initially shown interest in it, but eventually backed out due to its concept. The film is touted to be a one-of-a-kind high-concept comedy with a snake as the antagonist. ## It is said that Akshay was not convinced by the conflict of snake vs human, and didn't want to venture into this genre again after Jaani Dushman. The producers had multiple rounds of discussion with Akki, and when they backed out, they decided to reset the project with Kartik Aaryan, who loved the idea and instantly signed on for the movie. ## The film is expected to go on floors by October this year after Kartik completes shooting for director Anurag Basu's untitled love story and Sameer Vidwans' Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.
