Ajay Devgn's 'De De Pyaar De 2' Gets A New Release Date

Mumbai, December 19 - The sequel to Bollywood star Ajay Devgn's romantic comedy De De Pyaar De has officially been postponed and will be released on November 14, 2025. ## Directed by Anshul Sharma, De De Pyaar De 2 was supposed to hit the big screen on May 1st, 2025, a date which has now been taken by Devgn's crime thriller Raid 2. The new release date of DDPD2 is exactly a year after Raid 2's original release date of November 14, 2024. ## DDPD 2, produced by T-Series and Luv Films, will see Ajay Devgn reprise his role along with Rakul Preet Singh, who also returns to reprise his character from the first movie released in 2019. R. Madhavan is the new addition to the cast as he reunites with Ajay after this year's superhit Shaitaan. ## The sequel will chronicle comic events in the family of Rakul Preet Singh arising out of the relationship between Ashish (Ajay Devgn) and Ayesha (Rakul). Hyderabad, December 18 - The makers of superstar Prabhas-fronted The Raja Saab have shared a statement on social media on the rumours regarding the film's teaser and shooting details. There have been rumours that the teaser would be released during the Christmas or New Year weekend which the makers have denied. ## The film is produced by People Media Factory which wrote on X, "#TheRajaSaab shooting is progressing rapidly with continuous day and night schedules. Nearly 80% of the shoot has been completed, and post-production work is in full swing".## "We’ve noticed various speculations circulating about the teaser release during Christmas or New Year. We kindly request you not believe these false rumours. We will officially announce any updates at the right time", the studio said in the post. ## Meanwhile, there have been reports that The Raja Saab will be postponed from April 10 release after the recent change in the release dates of other movies. The movie is to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and the official announcement of the same was made on Wednesday, December 18. ## Announcing the film, the production house unveiled the entire main cast which includes Triptii Dimri as the female lead with Randeep Hooda and Nana Patekar in the prominent roles. The makers also confirmed that the shoot of this untitled film will start on January 6 and it will be released in theaters worldwide on December 5, 2025. ## The upcoming film marks Shahid and Vishal Bhardwaj's third film together after critically acclaimed Haider and Kaminey. The movie, directed by Maruthi, was announced for a multi-lingual release on April 10, 2025, however, there is a change in the plans. ## According to the latest Telugu media reports, The Raja Saab is set to be postponed and the announcement for the same will be made soon. Debutante Shaneil Deo directs the movie. ## Mrunal has replaced Shruti Haasan, who was originally cast as the female lead but later backed out for unknown reasons. Decoit is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Suniel Narang under the banner of Annapurna Studios, is being shot simultaneously in the Hindi and Telugu languages. ## The movie follows an angry convict plotting revenge against his former girlfriend, who betrayed him. Sesh described it as a solid action film with a touching love story. Mumbai, December 15 - Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 - The Rule surpasses 500 crores net collection in Hindi after scoring a historic 125+ crores net second weekend at the Hindi box office. It is the first movie ever to score 100+ crores net in the second weekend in Hindi. ## Pushpa 2 on its second Sunday is looking to score in the range of 54-56 crores net, according to estimates. This pushes the total Hindi collection to over 550 crores in 11 days, becoming the third-biggest Hindi grosser of all time, behind Jawan and Stree 2. ## The film will surpass Stree 2 during or before the third weekend to become the biggest Hindi grosser ever. Mumbai, December 14 - Pushpa 2 is creating a mass frenzy and hits the ball out of the park once again by scoring a monstrous second Saturday at the Hindi box office with a sensational jump of over 60% from the second Friday which itself was huge. ## According to early estimates, Pushpa 2 scored 45-47 crores net collection on its second Saturday (10th day) in Hindi, pushing the total collection to around 497+ crores net. It will enter the 500 crores net club by tomorrow morning and will become the fastest to do so. ## This is a never-before-seen trend at the box office, and it will be hard to replicate soon unless there comes a movie with a similar kind of mass appeal with favourable audience reception. Mumbai, December 13 - Pushpa 2 starts the second weekend with a fantastic hold at the Hindi box office with the collection coming in more or less in the same range as yesterday, the second Thursday. In the first week, the movie minted around 425 crores net collection in Hindi.## According to the early estimates, Pushpa 2 has scored in the range of 26-27 crores on its second Friday/9th day in Hindi, pushing the total collection to over 450 crores net. The second weekend is probably heading for 100+ crores net with a drop of around 50% from the first Friday to Sunday weekend which is an excellent hold. ## As said, Pushpa 2 will enter the 500 crores net club by the second Sunday (11 days) and will become the fastest to achieve this feat, taking 7 fewer days than Jawan which is currently the fastest to do so in 18 days. Allu Arjun Sent For 14-Day Judicial Custody In Sandhya Theater Stampede Case

Hyderabad, December 13 - In a shocking turn of events, superstar Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday in a case related to a stampede at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad where a woman died. This happened when the premiere of the actor's Pushpa 2 - The Rule was held and was attended by Allu Arjun and family on December 4. ## Now, according to the latest media reports, the bail of Allu Arjun has been rejected and sent to 14-dau judicial custody by a local court in Telangana in the case in which the deceased son was also injured and undergoing treatment. The actor has moved the Telangana High Court for urgent relief.## Earlier in the day, a police team, headed by the assistant commissioner, arrived at Arjun's home to take him into custody whilst his family members were present.
