Mumbai, October 19 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar teamed up with producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films for the first time for an aerial action thriller Sky Force. The movie was supposed to be released in October during Gandhi Jayanti weekend but was pushed back. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Maddock Films and the team have now locked the Republic Day weekend 2025 release for Sky Force. It is directed by Sandeep Kewlani, and Abhishek Anil Kapur and also stars Sara Ali Khan, Veer Pahariya, and Nimrat Kaur in prominent roles. ## Sky Force is set against the backdrop of India's first-ever air strike on Pakistan. It is said to be a perfect fit for a Republic Day weekend release due to its patriotic flavour and is high on action, drama, emotions, and thrills to keep the audience excited. ## The VFX of Sky Force is done by the National and Oscar Award-winning company - DNEG. It has breathtaking aerial visuals. Mumbai, October 17 - Kangana Ranaut's much-awaited biographical drama Emergency has finally received the censor certificate after a long delay, the national award-winning actress confirmed the same on X. ## "We are glad to announce we have received the censor certificate for our movie Emergency, we will be announcing the release date soon. The film marks Tamil filmmaker Atlee's maiden Bollywood production which is directed by Kalees.## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, Atlee and Varun Dhawan are set to unveil the teaser of Baby John on Diwali, November 1st. The promo will also be attached with Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn's highly-awaited Singham Again which is scheduled to be released on the same day.## It is said that the makers have cut a massy, action-packed 1-minute and 30-second teaser. Chennai, October 16 - Superstar Rajinikanth's action drama Vettaiyan has entered the 200 crores club at the worldwide box office in just 6 days, becoming the second Tamil movie of 2024 to achieve the feat after Thalapathy Vijay's The Greatest of All Time.## After the good extended first weekend with 189 crores worldwide gross, Vettaiyan, however, has dropped heavily in the first 2 working days. On Monday, the collection dropped by around 75% followed by another around 25% drop on Tuesday for approximately 14 crores worldwide gross in 2 days. ## The total worldwide collection of the film after 6 days stands at approximately 203 crores gross, including 134 crores in India and 69 crores overseas. The domestic collection of 134 crores includes 81 crores in the home state, Tamil Nadu as it is marching towards 100 crores gross in the state. ## It is the 7th movie of Rajinikanth to top 200 crores worldwide gross, after 2.0, Jailer, Enthiran, Kabali, Petta, and Darbar. After the Covid-19 pandemic, Vettaiyan is the second film of the superstar to enter this box office club after Jailer.## Despite the good first weekend, the overall collection of Vettaiyan is underwhelming due to the weak trend during the weekdays. New Delhi, October 15 - Filmmaker Sandeep Singh has collaborated with the national broadcaster Doordarshan to announce Fauji 2, the new version of Shah Rukh Khan-led iconic television series.## Directed by Abhinav Pareek, Fauji 2 will star Vicky Jain and Gauahar Khan in the leading roles and will introduce twelve new actors - Aashish Bhardwaj, Utkarsh Kohli, Rudra Soni, Amardeep Phogat, Ayaan Manchanda, Niel Satpuda, Suvansh Dhar, Priyanshu Rajguru, Aman Singh Deep, Udit Kapur, Maansi and Sushmita Bhandari.## The show will feature 11 songs with music composed by music director Shreyas Puranik.
