Dharma Productions 'Dhadak 2' Release Date Postponed

Dhadak 2, which is said to be a remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018), was announced on November 22, 2024, release. According to Bollywood Hungama, it has now been postponed and the producers are looking at releasing the film on February 21, 2025.

Subject to the official announcement, Dhadak 2 will clash with Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 which is already confirmed for February 21, 2025, release. Tripti Dimri's birthday falls on February 23, so it will be a birthday treat if the movie is officially confirmed for a February 21 release.

The original movie, Pariyerum Perumal follows a law student from a lower caste who begins a friendship with his classmate, a girl who belongs to a higher caste, and the men in her family start giving him trouble over this. He wakes up to the realities of caste oppression and discrimination, after being harassed by them.
