Disney's 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' Box Office Projection Revealed
Los Angeles, May 8 - The Apes are coming to rule the box office again as Disney's Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes looking at one of the best starts in the franchise. ## Directed by Wes Ball, the fourth instalment in the Planet of the Apes reboot the franchise and the tenth film overall is tracking to earn $50 million to $50 million in the domestic (North America) opening weekend, according to Variety.## If the movie opens in the projected lines, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes could aim at the third or possibly second biggest opening in the Rebooted franchise. 2014's Dawn of the Planet of the Apes notched a series-best $72 million opening, followed by 2017's War for the Planet of the Apes opened to $56.2 million and 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes opened to $54.8 million. ## Apart from the domestic, the upcoming movie is tracking to earn $80 million to $90 million at the international box office, for a $130 million to $140 million worldwide debut. The movie has been made on a budget of $160 million. ## The previous three films in the franchise have collectively grossed around $1680 million at the worldwide box office, including Dawn of the Planet of the Apes being the biggest grosser of them with $710 million. The movie is scheduled to be released on May 10, and in India, it will be released in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, languages. ## Stay tuned...
