Box Office: Godzilla x Kong Hits 100 Crore Gross In India
Mumbai, April 13 - Warner Bros. Pictures/Legendary Pictures's Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire has topped 100 crores gross at the Indian box office, becoming the first for Hollywood in 2024 and very first in the MosterVerse franchise.

Directed by Adam Wingard, the Godzilla vs. Kong sequel has grossed an estimated 102 crores in 16 days (including the 3rd Saturday). It is the first film in the Godzilla franchise to cross 100 crores gross, beating its predecessor which grossed around 60 crores in 2021.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Godzilla x Kong is the 8th Hollywood film to enter this prestigious box office club, after Avatar 2, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Stranger 2, Oppenheimer, Mission Impossible 7, Fast X, and Thor: Love and Thunder.

The film has performed exceptionally well in the non-Hindi market with more than 50% collection coming from South Indian states. At the worldwide box office, the film has grossed around 3300 crores ($400 million), including 1220+ crores ($146.50 million) at the domestic (North America) box office.
