Mumbai, April 21 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's long-awaited family action drama film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has been released in theaters today and is expected to do well at the box office. ## Salman Khan stars in the film alongside Telugu actors Venkatesh, and Jagapathi Babu, among others. There was a time when two-hero films used to be the norm, especially in Bollywood, but the trend died down in the last 15-20 years. ## Post the covid-19 pandemic, the chatter about making two-hero films has been peaking pace as most people feel that this is the need of the hour for the betterment of the industry. Recently, Salman Khan played a vital cameo in Shah Rukh Khan-fronted "Pathaan" which also stars John Abraham. ## The cameo of Salman was a major highlight and played a big role in "Pathaan's" box office success. The two heroes will now be sharing equal screen time in "Tiger Vs. Pathaan" which begins next year and before that, SRK will be seen playing a cameo in Salman's "Tiger 3" which releases on Diwali this year. ## Salman Khan seems to be a big supporter of two-hero films and he has also advised younger actors to follow this path. During a recent interview while promoting KKBKKJ, he said that whenever he faced a lull and gave a string of flops, he had no problem sharing screen space with the actors like Jackie Shroff, Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, etc.## The "Tiger" actor further said that if an actor feels insecure about doing two-hero films, it's quite foolish. Salman also emphasized that multi-starrers also result in bigger box office collections. Mumbai, April 20 - Superstar Salman Khan-fronted Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is having a decent advance booking trend though the pace is slowed down after starting on a positive note. ## Directed by Farhad Samji, KKBKKJ has so far sold around 100K tickets worth approx. 2.50 crores gross for the opening day. The three national chains (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis) have clocked around 40K tickets so far and it looks to finish around 60K-65K tickets. ## The advances are having better response than all but Shah Rukh Khan-fronted "Pathaan" for the 2023 films. At the end of the day, the total pre-sales for the first day are expected to finish over 4 crores gross with approx. 150K-175K tickets, which will make it the second biggest this year. ## At the start of the advance booking a couple of days ago, KKBKKJ was looking to score in the range of 20 crores net on the first day, however, the slow pace and the pre-Eid release have brought down the projection a little bit.## As many are expecting, the opening of the film is looking in the 15 crores net range but considering the better response in mass pockets, it should be eying to open around 17 crores which will be a good number and it could go higher if the talks are positive. Many would argue that a 15-17 crores opening is not up to the mark for a star like Salman Khan but things are not as same it was before the pre-covid era. ## Salman Khan has a strong fan-following in mass belts so expect the walk-ins to be strong than most of the Bollywood films this year. It had its world premiere at the 70th Locarno Film Festival in Locarno, Switzerland on August 9, 2017. The film revolves around the story of a camel trader who falls in love with a tribal woman named Nooran. ## According to an ancient myth, the sting of a scorpion in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan can cause death in less than 24 hours and the only cure is the song sung by a scorpion singer which counters the poison of the scorpion. Directed by Farhad Samji, KKBKKJ carries a lot of expectations and a litmus test for Salman's stardom. ## Meanwhile, the full-fledged advance booking for the movie was opened yesterday, and the initial response is positive. The pre-sales haven't been great for most of the Bollywood movies post the covid-19 pandemic, but here, KKBKKJ is portraying a different story. ## It has been only 24 hours since the advances were opened, and the pre-booking is already nearing 1 crore gross with around 35K tickets sold for the opening day. The talkie portions had already completed for this Atlee Kumar's directorial with only two songs left which have now been completed.## According to Peepingmoon.com, "Shah Rukh Khan finally completes shooting for Jawan today. Although the talkie portions were already finished on April 5, they still had two songs left. SRK shot a romantic track with Nayanthara and then filmed a mass dance song with Deepika Padukone. Today is the last day for the SRK and Deepika song, and then it will officially be concluded". ## The filming of Jawan commenced in September 2021 and since then, the team has shot in different locations in Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan, and Mumbai. The movie features SRK in a duel role along with Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, and Yogi Babu while Sanjay Dutt and Deepika Padukone play cameo roles. ## There have been rumors that the movie will be postponed, however, the report has confirmed that the makers are very much on track to release it on June 2. The editing, VFX, and all post-production works are going on in full swing to meet the release date, while at the same time, Atlee Kumar has also started working on its teaser and trailer. It is said that the teaser will be launched in the first week of May.## The action sequences in the film have been choreographed by Hollywood stunt directors like Craig Macrae (Mad Max: Fury Road, Avengers: Age of Ultron), Yannick Ben, and India's Sunil Rodrigues.
