Adipurush Trailer To Be Screened In Cinemas Across 70 Countries

Mumbai, May 6 - The trailer of the highly-awaited Pan India film Adipurush is officially confirmed to be launched on May 9. The Prabhas-fronted magnum opus is easily the most-anticipated Indian movie currently and the makers have planned it to make a worldwide sensation. ## Directed by Om Raut, the "Adipurush" trailer will be screened in cinemas across 70 countries to make it a global event. The makers want to leave a lasting impression on audiences by showing them the trailer on the big screen before launching it digitally on the same day.## Last year, "Adipurush" received a lot of backlash when the teaser was launched digitally. However, the makers were quick to screen the teaser on the big screen which was appreciated widely but it was too late to make an impact as criticism was too heavy to sideline. This forced the makers to postpone the release from January 2023.## This time, the makers are being extra careful and making sure the trailer creates a huge impact through its big screen launch. The trailer will be shown in a 3D version. ## "Adipurush" is produced by T-Series, Retrophiles, and UV Creations. Mumbai, May 5 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn's long-awaited sports biographical drama film Maidaan might be pushed further as Bollywood sees another big release date shuffle with the summer 2023 releases. ## Shah Rukh Khan-fronted action entertainer Jawan, which was scheduled to release on June 2, will now reportedly be hitting worldwide theaters on August 25 this year. It has made other films change their plans after a few films already postponed their release dates. ## As per the latest reports, "Maidaan", which was scheduled for June 23 release, has been pushed to September 8, 2023. The official confirmation is yet to be made but it seems the movie is indeed moving to September release. ## Directed by Amit Sharma, the film has already been postponed multiple times due to the busy release calendar and the delay in the post-production work. Mumbai, May 5 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's all-time blockbuster spy action thriller Pathaan is all set to historic release in Bangladesh amid huge excitement among the fans. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" will be the first major Hindi film in many years to have secured release in the neighboring country and will be hitting theaters nationwide on May 12, according to Variety. ## Bollywood films haven't been released in Bangladesh since the country's formation in 1971, in order to protect the local film industry. In 2009, Salman Khan-fronted "Wanted" was allowed to release in the country, however, it was pulled after a week due to a protest led by a local film industry organization. ## Variety further states that in February this year, a consortium of 19 Bangladesh film associations decided to allow 10 Bollywood films to release, and "Pathaan" will become the first Hindi-language film to enjoy a wide release in Bangladesh.## Produced by Yash Raj Films, "Pathaan" is a part of YRF's Spy Universe and also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in prominent roles while Salman Khan plays a cameo as Tiger. 'The Kerala Story' Set For A Good Start At The Box Office

Mumbai, May 4 - Director Sudipto Sen's drama film The Kerala Story has been at the center of controversy ever since the trailer was launched. The movie is claimed to have been based on true events and follows the story of a group of women from Kerala who are converted to Islam and join the extremist Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). ## There was hardly any buzz around "The Kerala Story" a couple of weeks ago but due to the controversy, everyone is now aware of it which is proving to be advantageous as far as the box office of the film is concerned. The movie has been able to fetch a decent advance booking collection and despite being not a mainstream Bollywood flick, it has better pre-sales than films like "Kuttey" and "Gumraah" which had a bigger star cast and scale.## As of 4 AM on May 5, the pre-sales collection of "The Kerala Story" was approx. 1.25 Cr with around 60K tickets sold for the first day. Mumbai, May 4 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's action entertainer Jawan with director Atlee is no longer releasing on June 2. ## The makers have been keeping mum on the release date of the movie which leads to frustration among the fans. Amid the continued silence, it has now been reported that "Jawan" won't make it to the June release due to the pending work on VFX. ## According to Pinkvilla, "Jawan" is now looking for an August 2023 release. "Jawan is no longer releasing on June 2, 2023. The team needs some more time to complete the visual effects of the film and they would rather come up with a product that competes with the best in the country than a substandard one".## It is said that the makers are discussing releasing the movie on August 11 or August 25 this year and the official confirmation regarding the same will be made soon. June 29 is also an option but reports say that is difficult to make as they need enough time in the post-production. ## August is already packed with multiple blockbusters slated to release. Both Katrina and Deepika have been an important part of YRF's Spy Universe and now, the studio is planning to make a proper big-budget film, revolving around their characters in this blockbuster universe. ## Katrina has played the role of ISI agent Zoya in the two Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger" movies in YRF's Spy Universe while Deepika was introduced in Shah Rukh Khan-led "Pathaan" in which she played the role of ISI agent Rubai. ## The details regarding the project have been kept under wraps for now. The timeline regarding where the movie will fit in Spy Universe is also not known yet. Mumbai, May 3 - After the debacle box office performance of "Vikram Vedha", Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan is hoping to turn the tide with Fighter, co-starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, which is currently in production for January 2024 release. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Fighter" is shaping up nicely and is among the most anticipated Indian movies at the moment. The aerial action thriller is being shot on a huge scale on par with Hollywood action films. The plot details have been kept under wraps for now but "Fighter" is already being seen as a huge money spinner for the makers. ## After "Fighter", Hrithik is in no mood to turn his head away from big-scale action entertainers as he has locked action-packed blockbusters for the next few years. Most of the shoot of "Fighter" is already completed and the makers are hoping to wrap it by June. After this, Hrithik will move to Yash Raj Films' War 2. ## The spy action thriller "War" is already an established brand after its blockbuster success in 2019, and now, YRF is making sure the sequel reaches the next level. The studio is planning to make "War 2" on a bigger scale than the first film and has roped in one of the biggest South Indian superstars Jr. NTR to headline it with Hrithik. ## The inclusion of Jr. NTR has made "War 2" a proper blue Pan India film that will be helmed by "Brahmastra" director Ayan Mukerji. Apart from being a sequel to a highly successful film, "War 2" is a part of YRF's highly successful ambitious spy universe. It will follow the events of Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger 3" which releases on Diwali this year. The shoot for "War 2" begins in November this year. ## After "War 2", Hrithik will headline his home production's Krrish 4 which is easily the most-awaited film of him. The 4th installment of the superhero franchise was announced way back in 2016 but it couldn't get on the floor due to some reasons. It is now moving forward as Rakesh Roshan has locked the basic story and is working on the screenplay. ## The official announcement is yet to be made but it is said that Karan Malhotra, who previously directed Hrithik Roshan in "Agneepath" (2012), will be directing the upcoming superhero sequel. Rakes Roshan, who directed the earlier three films, will be monitoring the progress of the movie this time around.
