Box Office: Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' Becomes The Highest-Grossing Bollywood Movie of 2022

Mumbai, September 18 - Director Ayan Mukerji's fantasy action adventure feature, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is all set to topple Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files to become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie during the entire covid-19 pandemic. ## The big screen entertainer takes just 10 days, including the second Sunday, to outshine TKF's lifetime worldwide total of 341 crores gross. TKF, however, will most probably remain the biggest blockbuster of 2022 knowing the fact that it generated massive profit for the makers against a very low budget of the movie. ## Nonetheless, "Brahmastra" has emerged as a hit at the box office despite the mixed reviews from critics. The movie is having a very good second weekend with an estimated 43-45 crores net. This will take the entire 10 days net collection to approx. 217 crores while the gross collection will be at 255 crores.## Including an estimated 95 crores from overseas markets, "Brahmastra's" total worldwide collection is looking to score around 350 crores after the second weekend (10 days). ## "Brahmastra" may go down to become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of 2022 unless "Vikram Vedha", "Ram Setu" and "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" do something miraculous. ## It is not that the upcoming movie can't have a blockbuster run at the box office. Akshay Kumar's "Ram Setu" particularly has the potential to do wonders if it gets positive reviews. VV and KKBKKJ too can surprise but it will be an uphill task for all three movies to topple "Brahmastra" which is not done yet and very much on track to finish over 400 crores worldwide. ## Stay tuned...

Ranbir Kapoor And Alia Bhatt React To The Rumours of Them Doing A Rom-Com Film Together

Mumbai, September 17 - Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are enjoying the success of their maiden film together Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, which is doing well at the box office.## Meanwhile, there are rumors that the real-life couple will be reuniting for a romantic-comedy film soon. It was reported that they have been approached for their next film together, details, however, were not disclosed. Now, Ranbir and Alia have reacted to those rumors and said that their next will be Brahmastra Part 2: Dev only. ## "Alia and me have a real-life comedy going on. So I don't know we need to do a film together", Ranbir jokingly said.## Alia added, "Yes, I have heard there is some rumor that we are doing a rom-com together. But our next film together will be part 2 of Brahmastra. Ayan is so protective of me and Ranbir together that I don't if he will let us do anything apart from Brahmastra films. But like Ranbir said, our life is only a rom-com so there you go". ## The actress, however, didn't refute the probability of doing a film with Ranbir outside the "Brahmastra" trilogy and said that if something interesting comes up, they will definitely give it a thought. ## Stay tuned...

But, anything can happen", he added.## The "Good Newwz" actor further said that even though cinema is all about entertainment, films like "Jogi" based on true facts should also be made which has been part of the dark history of India. "This is not a new story. This film (Jogi) is also talking about the same things that we have grown up listening to. Whatever has happened is there for everyone to see", he added.## "Jogi" is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on September 16. It is billed as a thrilling and emotional journey of the fighting spirit of three friends, played by Diljit, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, and Hiten Tejwani.## Stay tuned...
