Mumbai, June 14, 2021: The film fraternity took to social media to remember late actor Sushant Singh Rajput on his first death anniversary. The 34-year-old actor was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14 last year. ## Sushant's "Sonchiriya" co-star Bhumi Pednekar wrote on Instagram, "Miss you, your questions and everything we spoke about. From the stars to the things unknown, you showed me the world like I had never seen it before. I hope you've found your peace my curious sweet SSR…Om Shanti #Forever #Ssr #Peace #neutronstar". ## Actor Pulkit Samrat wrote, "It has been a year since the world lost you, and my mind immediately goes back to the times when we crossed paths briefly, at an award function. We shook hands briefly and went our separate ways. Memories have a funny way of evoking emotions. I still remember when I heard the news that you were no more, it felt like a personal loss. Mumbai, June 14, 2021: In February 2020, Reliance Entertainment had confirmed that the production house has bought the Hindi remake rights of Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial Kaithi, which stars Karthi in the lead role. Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn is signed to play the lead role in the Hindi remake of the Tamil film. ## However, according to reports, the Hindi remake of Kaithi will undergo many changes and will be different from the original movie. While the Tamil movie had no leading actress, Kajal Aggarwal is likely to romance Ajay Devgn in the Hindi version. It is said that makers are planning to include a heroine and a flashback episode with Ajay. ## If reports are to be believed, then Kajal is all set to reunite with Devgn after the 2011 blockbuster Singham. Kajal's inclusion in the Kaithi remake means, it is set to be remodeled as a commercial entertainer, unlike the Tami version, which was a bona fide action thriller. ## Interestingly, director Lokesh Kanagaraj's films are selling like hotcakes in Bollywood. His Maanagaram is being remade as Mumbaikar by Santosh Sivan, his Kaithi is all set to be remade by Ajay Devgn, and Salman Khan is likely to play the lead in the Hindi remake of Master.## Meanwhile, the producer of the original Kaithi, SR Prabhu recently confirmed through a Twitter Spaces session that a sequel to Kaithi is in the works and the audience will definitely get to see what happened next. Mumbai, June 12, 2021: It's been a long time since the last big Bollywood star movie released in theaters. The covid-19 pandemic keeps playing a spoilsport for many films, and one of them is Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the movie also star Katrina Kaif as the female lead while Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh also have special appearances. ## Sooryavanshi was originally scheduled to release in March 2020 and has since had a number of release dates confirmed until the situation with the pandemic in India began to worsen. However, there is good news regarding the new release date of the film and it is that the movie could release on 15 August 2021 in theaters. ## According to Box Office Worldwide, Reliance Entertainment has initiated a conversation with exhibitors about the new release date of Sooryavanshi. However, the makers have put forth their new terms for exhibitors that they won't be paying any Voluntary Provident Fund charges as post-lockdown it should be a new norm to reduce the burden on producers. ## The report further stated that makers have also proposed the new revenue sharing percentage which will be 60% for the 1st week, 50% for the 2nd week & 40% for the 3rd week and onwards. Sooryavanshi has also been approached by OTT platforms for direct-to-digital release but makers are committed to its theatrical release. ## Meanwhile, director Rohit Shetty is currently busy shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 11 in Cape Town, South Africa. Salman Khan Acquires Hindi Remake Rights of Ravi Teja Starrer Telugu Movie Khiladi?

Mumbai, June 11, 2021: Telugu star Ravi Teja's action thriller movie, Khiladi is yet to hit the theater screens, but it seems the movie has already caught the attention of Bollywood. According to the latest development in Bollywood, superstar Salman Khan has reportadly bought the Hindi remake rights of Khiladi. ## It is reported that Salman enjoyed that the recently released trailer of Khiladi, and he looked interested to make its Hindi version. He has reportadly approached director Ramesh Varma, who has helmed the Telugu version, to direct the film's Hindi version as well. However, there's no official word either from Salman Khan or the makers of Khiladi yet on the Hindi remake. ## Produced by Satyanarayana Koneru, Khiladi stars Ravi Teja in a dual role along with Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Dimple Hayathi in prominant roles. Sujit Vaasudev and GK Vishnu are the cinematographers of Khiladi. The Telugu movie was supposed to release on May 28 but the covid-19 pandemic forced the makers to postpone it. The new date is yet to be announced. ## Interestingly, Salman Khan is also reportadly in talks to star in the Hindi remake of 2021 Tamil blockbuster, Master starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi. Delhi High Court Rejects Sushant Singh Rajput's Father's Plea To Stay Release Of Nyaay: The Justice

Delhi, June 10, 2021: The Delhi High Court on Thursday refused to stay the release of the film "Nyaay: The Justice", which is said to be based on the life of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The Delhi HC, chaired by Justice Sanjeev Narula dismissed the plea filed by Sushant's father, KK Singh seeking a ban on the film. ## According to News18, some of the upcoming or proposed movie projects mentioned in the plea include "Nyay: The Justice", "Suicide or Murder: A star was lost", "Shashank", among other unnamed crowd-funded films. The High Court told in its order that "Nyay: The Justice" does not depict Sushant's caricature, name, or likeness as it is not a biopic on him. ## The submission was made by the producers and director of the film, which is scheduled to be released in June. After hearing arguments of both sides, Justice Sanjeev Narula reserved judgment in the matter and asked the producers and director of the film not to release the movie till the court pronounces its verdict.## In the plea filed by KK Singh, he said that the filmmakers are taking advantage of the situation for commercial gains and therefore, the right to freedom of speech and expression would not apply to them. He also sought damages of over Rs 2 crores from the filmmakers for loss of reputation, mental trauma, and harassment to the SSR family. ## Nyay: The Justice is directed by Dilip Gulati and produced by Sarla A. Right after the release of KGF: Chapter One, the duo met Prashanth Neel and discussed the idea of an epic mythological tale in a period set up on a scale like never before. The three bonded well in the first meeting itself, in fact, Prabhas so was impressed with Neel's vision, that he asked him about the possibility of teaming up on something modern, which will be shot in a quick pace", a source revealed to Pinkvilla. ## After the second part of Baahubali (2017), Prabhas has done only one film, titled "Saaho", which marked his Hindi debut. It was his 19th film, released in 2019. However, the second wave of the covid-19 pandemic again forced the production to be paused as most of the states went into lockdown including Maharasthra. ## Now, as the Covid lockdown is seeing some relaxation, most of the films are ready to resume production. Heropanti 2, which also stars Tara Sutaria, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, will head to Russia in July to shoot the next schedule of this action entertainer. ## The cast will start shooting in Moscow followed by St. Petersburg in Russia next month. Apart from filming some major action sequences, the team will also shoot a song in Russia.## "The team is planning to shoot major action sequences and a song in Moscow and St Petersburg. The team has been scouting the perfect locations along with the local team there", a source close to the development revealed to ANI. ## "We are also in talks with multiple stunt designers to get the larger-than-life action sequences and one of them is Martin Ivano who is known for his work in Skyfall (2012), The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), and The Bourne Supremacy (2004). Sajid Sir is making sure that all the crew members are vaccinated before the teams fly to Russia", the source added. ## The source also informed that producer Sajid Nadiadwala of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment is making sure that all the cast and crew of Heropanti 2 are vaccinated before they leave for their schedule in Russia. ## Heropanti 2, which is a sequel to 2014's Heropanti, is being directed by Ahmed Khan. Mumbai, June 8, 2021: India's one of the biggest production houses, Yash Raj Films had pledged to vaccinate the members of the Hindi film industry so that they can resume work at the earliest. On Tuesday, Aditya Chopra has started the much-needed vaccination drive at Yash Raj Films (YRF) studios, which aims to vaccinate around 4000 workers in the first phase.## The Studio has pledged that it will do its best to vaccinate 30,000 registered members of the FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees). The company has already vaccinated its employees in an earlier drive that happened within the YRF Studios in Mumbai. ## The vax drive, initiated by filmmaker Aditya Chopra of YRF, looks to facilitate the resumption of day-to-day activity in Bollywood.## Akshaye Widhani, Senior Vice President, Yash Raj Films, said, "After inoculating all the employees at YRF, we started vaccinating the crew members of our films and we are now delighted to have started the vaccination drive for the Hindi film industry. This will result in the daily wage earners of our industry returning to work and provide financial stability for themselves and their families".## "The drive will have to take place in phases, given the huge number of vaccines that are required to cover the industry. In the first phase, which starts today, we would be able to inoculate at least 3500-4000 people. It was recently reported that Akshay Kumar and producer, Ashwin Varde are reuniting to take the Oh My God Franchise forward with its sequel. ## The makers have been planning to make a sequel of OMG for a long time but things couldn't fall in place. Earlier, both Akshay and Paresh Rawal were supposed to return in the sequel but now, it looks like Mr. Rawal is no longer a part of it, instead, Pankaj Tripathi has been roped in to play Rawal's role. ## While the official announcement about the film and characters is yet to be made, we have now got to know that Yami Gautam has been cast to play the female lead in the film. The actress recently got married to her Uri: The Surgical Strike director, Aditya Dhar, and kicked off the next chapter of her life. ## "Yami Gautam will play the female lead in Oh My God 2, and she has a very crucial role in the story.
