Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the movie features Ajay Devgn as Bhagat Singh - a freedom fighter who fought for Indian independence along with fellow members of the Hindustan Republic Association. ## As the movie completes 19 years, Ajay Devgn took to social media and panned down a thoughtful post about Bhagat Singh. It chronicles Bhagat Singh's life from his childhood where he witnesses the Jallianwala Bagh massacre until the day he was hanged to death on 23 March 1931. ## Apart from Ajay Devgn, the movie also starred Sushant Singh, D. Santosh, Akhilendra Mishra, and Amrita Rao as the other lead characters while Raj Babbar and Farida Jalal played supporting roles. The music of the film, which is still one of the best albums, was composed by A. R. Rahman. ## The movie received a positive response for the direction, story, screenplay, and performances of Devgn and Sushant receiving the most attention, however, it underperformed at the box office, grossing only approx Rs. 110 million in the budget of around Rs. 180 million. Mumbai, June 6, 2021: Recently, it was reported that Akshay Kumar starrer, Oh My God (2012) is getting the sequel. The actor is reportadly reprising his character of God in the sequel while Pankaj Tripathi is the new addition. Tripathi will replace Paresh Rawal who was part of 2012's film. The script of the film is said to be locked and will go on floors in September this year. ## It was reported that Umesh Shukla, who helmed Oh My God, is not returning to helm sequel. We now learnt that Amit Rai, who win accolades for directing Road to Sangam (2010), has been brought on board to helm this social comedy, which will be produced by Ashwin Varde and Akshay Kumar. ## Rai's directorial "Road to Sangam" featured Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, and Pawan Malhotra. He won Gollapudi Srinivas Award for the film. He has also directed the 2009 Marathi film, Tingya, which was rewarded at the International Film Festival of South Africa.## "After discussing multiple ideas with multiple names, Amit was able to crack a plot that's relevant and as exciting as the first part. Shootings and Theatres To Operate From Monday As Maharashtra Government Announces Five-Level Unlock Plan

Mumbai, June 5, 2021: The Bollywood film industry based in Mumbai, Maharashtra left stranded once again when the second wave of the covid-19 pandemic forced the state government to enforce the lockdown to curb the virus a few weeks ago. The shootings of the films and tv shows were paused and theaters were shut which badly affected the daily wage earners. ## Now, as the coronavirus cases are declining sharply in Maharashtra and all over the country, the Maha. government has decided to unlock the state from Monday (June 7), which will be based on the COVID positivity rate and the availability of oxygen beds in the state. To unlock the state, the state government led by CM Uddhav Thackeray on Friday issued a five-level restriction plan. ## According to level 1, which includes areas where the weekly covid-19 positivity rate is less than 5% and where less than 25% of oxygen beds are occupied, theaters will be permitted to operate at full capacity while shooting can also resume in such areas. ## The theaters will be allowed to operate at 50% capacity in the areas when the weekly positivity rate is less than 5% and oxygen beds occupancy is between 25% to 40%, according to level 2. Level 3 consists of cities and districts which have a weekly positivity rate of 5%-10% or oxygen bed occupancy of more than 40%. ## Mumbai city falls under the level 3 category since its weekly positivity rate is 5.56% while the bed occupancy is 32.51%. According to the guidelines, cinema halls won't be allowed to resume operations for places under Level 3. However, shootings can be resumed. But, one will have to strictly follow certain rules - the shoots will happen in a bubble and moreover, no movement will be allowed outside after 5 pm.## As per the government notification, every Thursday, the public health department of Maharashtra will declare the list of oxygen beds occupancy and weekly positivity rate in each district. As you all know, it was earlier reported that Akshay will be starring in the sequel of his 2012 film, Oh My God with Paresh Rawal in the lead role, though there was no confirmation from makers. ## While the sequel of OMG is definitely ON, we hear that Paresh Rawal will not be part of the sequel, instead, versatile actor Pankaj Tripathi will play the lead role along with Akshay Kumar. If things go as per plan, this would be the second time Pankaj Tripathi will share screen space with Akshay. Mumbai, June 3, 2021: Actors Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani have been booked under sections 188, 34 IPC by Bandra police station for violating lockdown rules. According to the police, the actors went out for a drive without a valid reason.## On Tuesday evening, the two were stopped by policemen on patrolling duty at Bandra Bandstand. Shroff is a resident of Bandra (West), the police said. After making inquiries with the two, the Police learnt that the Baaghi 2 actors were out on a drive, which is the violation lockdown and FIR can be registered against violators. ## "An FIR has been registered on Wednesday under section 188(Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the IPC against the duo", said a senior Mumbai Police officer.## Meanwhile, Mumbai Police's social media handle, after registering FIR against the actors, advised people not to violate lockdown norms by mentioning Tiger and Disha's film's title in the tweet in a witty manner. ## "In the ongoing 'War' against the virus, going 'Malang' on the streets of Bandra cost dearly to two actors who have been booked under sections 188, 34 IPC by Bandra PStn.
