John Abraham Led 'Mumbai Saga' Takes Direct OTT Route?

With the covid-19 pandemic is still around, many filmmakers are hesitating to release their movies in theaters. Recently, we show many films such as Coolie No 1, Laxmii, Soorari Pottru, and others skipped theatrical release to take the direct OTT route to ensure on-time release. ## Now, according to reports, John Abraham-led crime thriller movie, Mumbai Saga is also going for the direct to digital release. The screening of Mumbai Saga reportedly took place last week where makers signed the deal with Amazon Prime Video. ## Amazon Prime Video has reportedly bought the streaming rights in INR 80 Crores which makes the highest priced film for John Abraham. As 2021 has begun, Vijay Sethypathy shared an exciting update to kick off the year. The actor has teamed with filmmaker Santosh Sivan and shared the first look of his next movie which is titled 'Mumbaikar'. The movie marks the official Bollywood debut for Sethupathy as he is no longer a part of Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha. ## Karan Johar and SS Rajamauli shared the first look poster of the movie that featured an ensemble cast including Vijay, Vikrant Massey, Sanjay Mishra, Ranvir Shorey, Tanya Maniktala, Sachin Khedekar. With the backdrop of birds flying at Marine Drive, the first look featured only the faces of the stars of the film. Vikrant Massey will step into Sundeep Kishan's shoes in the Hindi remake. Maanagaram, which released in 2017, was an edge-of-the-seat thriller directed by young filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. Mumbaikar will be produced by Shibu Thameens that happens to be his Hindi debut production. ## Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathy is waiting for the release of his next film Master which stars Thalapathy Vijay in the title role. He will be sharing screen space with Ananya Pandey in the actioner which is being simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu. In 2021, the Dear Comrade star will be seen making her Tamil and Hindi debut also. Talking about her Bollywood debut, she will star opposite Sidharth Malhotra in Mission Majnu. The espionage thriller, directed by Shantanu Bagchi, is inspired by a true story set in the 1970s. Apart from Mission Majnu, there are reports that she has bagged another Bollywood film that stars Amitabh Bachchan. ## Vijay Sethupathy ## One of the biggest Kollywood actors, Vijay Sethupathy is all set to start his Bollywood journey in 2021. The actor recently shared the first look poster of his debut Bollywood movie, Mumbaikar which will be directed by the acclaimed filmmaker, Santosh Sivan who is best known for cinematography in Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi cinema. Earlier, Sethupathy was supposed to make his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan starrer, Lal Singh Chaddha, but now, he is reportedly no longer part of the movie which is scheduled for release on 25 December 2021. Sethupathy will also be seen with Shahid Kapoor and Malavika Mohanan in Amazon Prime Video's web series. ## Pranitha Subhash ## Pranitha Subhash who has acted in the movies like Saguni, Attarintiki Daredi, Rabhasa, Brahmotsavam, Hello Guru Prema Kosame, and others, was expected to make her Bollywood debut with Bhuj: The Pride of India in 2019, but the movie was postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic. The Ajay Devgn starrer will now release in 2021 on Disney+Hotstar. Pranitha will also star in Hungama 2 alongside Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty, and Meezaan Jeffery. ## Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas ## Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas who has acted in several Telugu films will mark his Hindi debut with the remake of the Telugu film Chatrapathi starring Prabhas and directed by SS Rajamouli. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. There is also a large ensemble cast, including Badhaai Ho actress, Neena Gupta, and others, as per Press Trust of India.## The film is a father-daughter story and it will be produced by Reliance Entertainment and Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures. ## Meanwhile, Mandanna is all set to make her Hindi film debut with Mission Majnu, starring actor Sidharth Malhotra in lead. Set in the 1970s, the film follows the story of India's most courageous mission in the heart of Pakistan that forever changed the relationship between the two nations, the official synopsis read.## In Mission Majnu, Malhotra will be seen playing a RAW agent.
