Salman Khan's 'Sikandar' Release Date Locked

Mumbai, February 25 - Super superstar Salman Khan-fronted action drama Sikandar is the next big Bollywood release. It is directed by A.R. Murugadoss, marking his first collaboration with the Bollywood superstar. ## Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar has been confirmed for the festive release on Eid 2025. Though the makers haven't announced the exact date yet, it has been revealed that the advance booking for the movie has started internationally with a March 30 release. ## Sikandar will be a Sunday release as Eid falls on Monday, making it the back-to-back Sunday launch for Salman Khan after Tiger 3. With these plans, the film will not have the weekend advantage, something Tiger 3 also missed and overlooked by makers. ## It needs to be seen how this release date fairs for the film as many believed that scheduling Tiger 3 on Sunday was a mistake to let go of the big advantage of the weekend before the festive holidays. Normally in this case, movies need to hit the bull's eye with content which is the only thing that can propel the film beyond holidays. ## The buzz around the film hasn't seen much movement as the makers haven't released much content to let the hype grow. However, with nearly a month to go for the release, expect back-to-back promotional content which will surely escalate the much-needed hype for the film. ## Stay tuned...

'Spider-Man 4' Gets A New Release Date

Los Angeles, February 22 - Last year, it was confirmed officially that Tom Holland would return to lead Spider-Man 4 and it was also revealed that Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton would take on the directing duties. ## Sony Pictures had scheduled this Marvel superhero movie for July 24, 2026, with filming to take place in the summer of this year. However, with the shoot yet to commence, the studio has pushed back the release date of the next Spider-Man movie by a week. ## The film will now be released on July 31, 2026. This change gives the film extra distance from the release of director Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, which also stars Holland and hits theatres on July 17, 2026. The gap between the two movies is still not big enough, hence, the trade is expecting another change in the release plans of Spider-Man 4. ## Spider-Man 4 will be the second Marvel Cinematic Universe release of 2026 after Avengers: Doomsday, which will be released two months earlier on May 1st. Spider-Man 4 will clash with Paramount's animated feature Paw Patrol 3, slated for the July 31 launch. No other films are currently booked for this date. ## This is also not the first time a Spider-Man movie is releasing shortly after the Avengers film. Previously, Tom Holland-led Spider-Man: Far From Home was released just two months after Avengers: Endgame and it went on to gross over a billion dollars at the worldwide box office.## The yet untitled Spider-Man 4 is the 4th Spidey movie featuring Holland in the titular role. The third film, Spider-Man: No Way Home was released in December 2021 and nearly made $2 billion globally as one of the highest-grossing films post the Covid-19 pandemic.## Stay tuned...
