Mumbai, July 4 - Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan's maiden collaboration with producer Kabir Khan "Satyaprem Ki Katha" is currently in cinemas and doing good business. The producer announced his second film with Kartik last year which will be directed by Kabir Khan. ## The film is touted to be a sports drama based on true inspirational incidents. Kabir Khan considered this to be one of his most ambitious projects to date and was at one point in time supposed to make it with Ranveer Singh in the lead. ## It marks the maiden collaboration between Kartik and Kabir. The shoot of the film has already started recently and now, the makers have locked the title and release date. 'Carry on Jatta 3' Scores Historic Opening Weekend At The Worldwide Box Office

New Delhi, July 3 - Gippy Grewal's comedy film "Carry on Jatta 3" has had a historic first weekend at the domestic as well as overseas box office. The movie breaks all the records and scored the biggest opening weekend ever for a Punjabi title. ## Directed by Smeep Kang, "Carry on Jatta 3" scored 6 crores net on Sunday, becoming the first Punjabi movie to reach that mark. In fact, the movie's third-day collection of 5.10 crores net is also the first time that a Punjabi movie has touched.## The four days extended opening weekend collections of COJ3 are approx. 19.50 crores net (23 crores gross) which is an all-time record. The film has beaten the blockbuster Hindi films in the Punjab state, which is an exceptional result.## Overseas, COJ3 has grossed approx. $2.80 million (23 crores), including North America which is the top contributor with $1.20K (9.80 crores). The worldwide collection of the movie stands at approx. 46 crores, which is again an all-time record for a Punjabi title in the opening weekend. ## COJ3 is set to become the highest-grossing Indian Punjabi movie, by surpassing its predecessor COJ2 which grossed approx. 58 crores. The latest blockbuster is likely to surpass the current record-holder in the opening week itself and then, it will be interesting to see if it could top the yet untouched 100 crores gross mark, which will also make it the highest-grossing Punjabi language title of all-time, beating Pakistani film "The Legend of Maula Jatt" which grossed approx. Mumbai, July 3 - Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra's action thriller "Yodha" has officially been postponed from September 15 by three months and will now be released on December 15, 2023, in theaters worldwide. ## "Yodha" is the first action film of the franchise headlined by Sidharth Malhotra and directed by debutant duo Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha. The movie is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan under the banner of Dharma Productions in association with Amazon Prime and Mentor Disciple Films. ## The movie, also starring Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani as the female leads, has already been postponed multiple times. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga Reveals The Reason For Postponement of Ranbir Kapoor-Fronted 'Animal'

Mumbai, July 3 - Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's highly-anticipated Pan India movie "Animal" starring Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has officially been postponed to December 1, 2023. The film was supposed to release on August 11 during the Independence Day weekend. ## There have been rumors floating on social media that "Animal" is postponed as the makers wanted to avert the clash with "Gadar 2" and "OMG 2". However, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has himself shared a video statement stating the real reason behind the postponement. ## In a video shared on T-Series' social media accounts, the director said that the only reason for the film not coming on August 11 is the quality of the product. He said that they don't want to compromise on the quality of the film and he gave example of the songs for the same. ## The director revealed that "Animal" has 7 songs in the original Hindi version and because the movie is also releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, there become a total of 35 songs. Due to the different kinds of lyrics and singers, things are taking a little more time than he had thought. He also said that they don't want to give the audience a feeling that the film and the songs are dubbed as they want to keep them as authentic as possible. ## The "Kabir Singh" director further said thanks to the audience for the excellent response to the pre-teaser and clarified that Ranbir Kapoor's glimpse shown in the pre-teaser as well as the song will be there in the movie as well contrary to the rumors. The filmmaker promises that it is a huge film and they are coming with the best quality in terms of everything.## The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series in association with Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios and Vanga's Bhadrakali Pictures. Hyderabad, July 3 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun reunites with director Trivikram Srinivas for his next film, tentatively titled "AA 22". The movie will be produced by S Radha Krishna's Haarika & Hassine Creations and Allu Arvind's Geetha Arts. ## "AA 22" marks the 4th collaboration between Allu Arjun and Trivikram. The duo previously collaborated on "Julayi" (2012), "S/O Satyamurthy" (2015), and "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" (2020). The upcoming movie will be a Pan India film, the first for Trivikram and the third for Allu Arjun after the "Pushpa" series. ## The official announcement of "AA22", which is touted to be a socio-fantasy film, was made on July 3. Mumbai, July 2 - Sajid Nadiadwala's musical romantic film "Satyaprem Ki Katha", starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, scores a good 4-day opening weekend at the domestic box office after recording back-to-back double-digit scores. ## On its first Sunday/4th day, SPK is seeing a jump of around 15%-20% for an estimated 11.50-12 crores net collection. The movie has a shot at hitting 12 crores net which remains to see. The first Sunday estimate collection takes the total to over 38 crores net which is a good result. ## SPK, being a multiplex-friendly title, has performed in the expected lines in its extended opening weekend. The film's word of mouth is on the positive side which should help it to get going during the crucial weekdays. Just like all the mid-budget films, the first Monday hold is going to be crucial for SPK for its longevity. The good thing is, SPK has no real threat till Karan Johar's "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" which arrives on July 28. ## Meanwhile, the Punjabi blockbuster "Carry On Jatta 3" continues to re-write history at the box office after scoring another massive day domestically. The third installment of the comedy franchise clocks the 4-day opening weekend of over 19 crores net after scoring an estimated 6 crores net on its first Sunday. ## The first Sunday/4th-day collection of COJ3 is more than double the first-day collection of the previous biggest Punjabi opener "Shadaa" (2.72 Cr) which is exceptional, to say the least. The makers have kept mum on the film's premise although a few character details have been revealed in the media. ## As the release date is getting nearer, the latest details from the movie hint that "Project K" is a much bigger movie than what we have heard so far. Previously, it was revealed that legendary Amitabh Bachchan's role is inspired by Ashwatthama from Mahabharata, and now, the details of Prabhas' character have also reportedly been revealed. ## According to senior journalist Daamu Balaji (via Thyview), Prabhas' character is inspired by Lord Vishnu in modern times. It is said that "Project K" is a sci-fi supernatural film that runs on the theme of Good vs evil just like Marvel movies do, but director Nag Ashwin has mixed mythology with science. ## "The hand poster of Prabhas' character released is of lord Vishnu. How Prabhas fights the modern villains using high technology forms the rest of the story. The evil character is portrayed by Kamal Haasan", the post reveals.## The movie is produced by C. Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies. It is one of the costliest films ever made in Indian cinema with the said budget of over 500 crores.
