Marvel India Made A Blunder By Announcing 7 October 2022 Release Date For Mahershala Ali's 'Blade'?

Mumbai, October 5 - Marvel is a huge film franchise in India and its movies have always been a big screen fest for the fans. On Tuesday (October 5), Marvel announced its slate of 2021 and 2022 movies with release dates on Marvel India Twitter handle. Disney is the distributing partner for Marvel movies.## Among the six Marvel films announced with release dates, Mahershala Ali's "Blade" was one of the movies in the list, which is shown with a October 7, 2022 date. While it is a great news for the fans, it would be an uphill task for Marvel to retain that release for the film. The film is currently in the pre-production stage and isn't set to begin filming until July 2022. ## It's no secret that Marvel Studios has a packed slate in 2022 and it if really wants to retain "Blade's" release in October, the studio will get maximum 3 months for the production, which is imposible considering a lot of time in post-production will be used. So why did an official Marvel account claim a false date? The most probable scenario is that, originally, Blade was slated to premiere on October 7, 2022 prior to its production being pushed back due to the ongoing health crisis. ## Marvel Studios had originally announced "Blade Reboot" in MCU during the 2019 edition of San Diego Comic-Con with award-winning actor Mahershala Ali in the lead. It will be directed by Bassam Tariq and is written by Staci Osei-Kuffour. Apart from Ali, there is no confirmed cast memeber has been announced yet and there are no sign of production taking place anytime soon. Considering all the aspects, it is clear that Marvel India has made a big blunder by announcing 7 October 2022 release. ## Previously, The Hollywood Reporter had revealed that Blade's production was moved from September 2021 all the way to July 2022 which further cements the fact that this October 2022 release date is the film's original date. Disney India Announces The Release Dates Of Avatar 2, Thor 4, Black Panther 2, And Others

Mumbai, October 5 - Disney Studios is going to have a blast in the Indian cinemas in the next 15 months with the number of potential blockbuster movies. The Studio has announced its slate of theatrical releases for Indian audiences which consist of 6 Marvel Studios films, 3 Disney's original movies, and the last is James Cameron's Avatar sequel. ## To begin with, the first film by Disney to release in India is Marvel Studios' Eternals. The superhero film starring Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, among others, is slated to hit theaters on Dilwai this year on November 5. It will be clashing with Bollywood's most-awaited cop-drama film "Sooryavanshi" starring Akshay Kumar.## The second film from the studio is again a Marvel movie. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange and Elizabeth Olsen, will release in the next year on March 25, 2022. It will clash with Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer Hindi movie "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2", which will also release on the same date. ## Apart from Eternals and Doctor Strange 2, four more Marvel movies Thor: Love And Thunder (May 6, 2022), Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (July 8, 2022), Blade (October 7, 2022), and The Marvels (November 11, 2022) are lined up to ignite Indian theaters in the next year. ## Other than the aforementioned Marvel movies, Disney will also release its computer-animated musical fantasy comedy film Encanto on November 26, 2021, computer-animated coming-of-age fantasy comedy Turning Red on March 11, 2022, and 3D computer-animated film Pixer - Lightyear on June 17, 2022. And then, the biggest of them all, the long-awaited Avatar 2 on December 16, 2022. ## Recently, Disney had released Marvel Studios' new superhero film "Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings" in theaters in multiple languages. Aryan Khan, Along With Two Others Sent To NCB Custody Till October 7 In Connection With Drugs Raid

Mumbai, October 5 - Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan along with Arbaaz Merchantt and Munmun Dhamecha have been sent to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) custody till 7 October in connection with the alleged seizure of drugs onboard a Mumbai luxury cruise on Saturday. ## Aryan Khan and other accused were produced before a Mumbai court on Monday where the court extended the remand custody of the three till 7 October, stating that the investigation is of "prime importance" in this case. Advocate Satish Maneshinde represents Aryan Khan while Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh represents the NCB. It is NCB sought custody till 11 October.## During the hearing in the court, NCB alleged that there were 'links' found in Aryan Khan's WhatsApp chats that point to an existence of an 'international racket', according to the quint from the report by Live Law. ASG Anil Singh told that there are 8 accused related to the ship and also told the Court that the NCB had procured a commercial quantity of drugs when the ninth accused, a supplier from Mumbai's Juhu, was arrested.## Mr. Singh also alleged that Aryan was discussing the modes of payment and code names were used. He further told the Court that all offenses under the NDPS Act are non-bailable citing previous Bombay High Court judgments, including Rhea Chakraborty's bail order. He sought remand custody till October 11 to track the financing and to unearth the nexus. ## Meanwhile, Aryan Khan claimed that he did not pay anything for the party and went there with his friend on the invitation from the organizers, as per a statement read by Khan's Lawyer Satish Maneshinde. He also claimed that nothing was found on him after his bag was searched by the NCB. ## Maneshinde recalled a judgment to show that commercial quantity found in one accused can't be used to incriminate another. A Supreme Court ruling was also referred to argue that WhatsApp chats cannot be used to incriminate an accused. The Hindi remake of the film, which is said to be directed by Rohit Dhawan, has been in development since the release of the Telugu movie with Kartik Aaryan stepping into the shoes with Allu Arjun. ## Recently, it was revealed that Kriti Sanon has been roped to romance Kartik in the film, which has reportedly been titled "Shehzada". The duo had earlier worked together in the superhit movie "Luka Chuppi". And now, the latest development on this much-awaited Hindi remake is that it is all set to go on floors from October 12 in Mumbai.## The makers have reportedly put up a big set in the studio and are gearing up for the shoot to commence. Los Angeles, October 3 - Marvel comic book movies are proving why they are the king of the box office. After "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings", and "Black Widow", two highest-grossing movies at the North America box office during the pandemic respectively, another comic book movie, "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" has gone nuts at the box office, shattering domestic box office record of the pandemic era. ## The Tom Hardy starrer, after taking an opening of $37.3 million including $11.6 million Thursday previews, concluded the 3-day opening weekend with $90.1 million, setting a new pandemic record at the North America box office. The movie tops "Black Widow's $80.4 million 3-day weekend debut. Sony had projected just $40 million in the first three days, which is far behind from actual collection.## The Venom sequel also topped its predecessor, 2018's "Venom", which grossed $80.3 million in the first three days, in the era of no covid-19 pandemic. "Venom" had grossed $855 million worldwide including $213 million in North America, despite the bad reviews. Venom sequel doesn't have a release date yet in China, where 2018's film had made $270 million. ## "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" opened massive in its first overseas market Russia with an estimated $14 million in the opening weekend, which is Sony's biggest opening of all time in that market, and the best of any film during the pandemic. An exclusive theatrical release of the film is benefitting its overall box office collection. ## "We are also pleased that patience and theatrical exclusivity have been rewarded with record results", Sony's chairman Tom Rothman said in a statement to the press. "With apologies to Mr. Twain: The death of movies has been greatly exaggerated".## In August, Sony pushed Venom 2 from September 24 to October 15 amid uncertainty over theatergoing and the delta variant. Mumbai, October 3 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday (October 3) in connection with a drugs raid. Aryan was one of the 10 people present during a rave party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai on Saturday (October 2), where NCB conducted a surprise raid. ## Aryan was detained by NCB and was taken in for questioning. However, earlier it was reported that his involvement was unlikely in possession of drugs as the investigation was on him. And now, the latest report is that he has been arrested by NCB after hours of questioning. The duo reportedly discussed some basic stuff and the plans to take the film on floors in the second half of 2022 with the makers.## According to Pinkvilla, Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan will play Ram and Raavan respectively while the search for Sita is still on. Mumbai, October 3 - The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is once again in action mode after conducting a surprise raid on a party being held on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai on Saturday (October 2). During a raid, NCB detained at least 10 persons, including the son of a Bollywood superstar. ## While NCB hasn't named anyone officially yet, according to ETimes, superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was one of the people who were present at the rave party. The report further claims that Aryan was taken in for questioning, but there was probably no involvement in the possession of drugs. An investigation is on him, according to an NCB official.## Apart from Aryan Khan, it has also been speculated that another Bollywood actor's son has been detained in the same case, however, there is no confirmation regarding him yet.
