Among the upcoming big-budgeted movies, Kangana Ranaut starrer Tejas is one of them making enough noise to keep the fans on the edge. The film showcases the story of a woman pilot in the Indian Air Force being played by Kangana. ## The movie was announced many moons back but couldn't go on floors due to the covid-19 pandemic. However, things are finally started falling in one place and Tejas is all set to take off next month. While fans are waiting to know more about the film, the actress has revealed her character name from Tejas. ## Taking to Twitter, Kangana shared the picture of an Army uniform which she will wear in the movie with "Tejas Gill" written on it which is her name in the film. He is now all set to return to the new action avatar with the upcoming gangster drama film, Mumbai Saga that will be hitting theaters on March 19. The actor said that performing action scenes is like doing an item song for him. ## Abraham's movies have always attracted mass audiences because of the high octane action. And he said that he likes working in mass-oriented films because the mass audience has shaped his career and established him as a macho man of the Bollywood industry. ## "For some actors, they love dancing. For me, the action is my dance. It's like an item song to me", said John.## "I think you must do films that relate to the mass audience and not just a few people who are sitting in a fancy theatre. I saw what Manya Surve (his character in Shootout At Wadala) did for me and Sanjay (Gupta). So, these kinds of films are relatable with a large section of the audience", he said while talking to the media at the trailer launch of Mumbai Saga on his slant at doing mass-oriented films. ## When asked about how he manages to bring a different kind of action in every film, the actor said, "It's tough because I feel like my bones are breaking but I try to do different action in different films. This film has raw action. In this film, my character has a conflict with Emraan's character. It's a gangster film and we are showing what has happened in reality".## The trailer of Mumbai Saga was released on Friday (February 26) and it shows how violence ruled Bombay in the 80s and 90s. John portrays a gangster who aspires to rule Bombay while Emraan Hashmi is cast as a cop who wants to kill John and win prize money of Rs 10 crore. The Sanjay Gupta directorial has an ensemble cast including Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, Rohit Roy, Anjana Sukhani, and Gulshan Grover. ## John Abraham will also be starring in an action thriller film, Attack, directed and co-written by Lakshya Raj Anand. Co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez, and Rakul Preet Singh, John will be seen doing action once again in this film but he said it will be completely different and futuristic action. Attack is scheduled to release on August 13, 2021.## Apart from Mumbai Saga and Attack, John Abraham's Satyameva Jayate 2, which is a sequel to his 2018's hit movie, is also scheduled to release on May 14 this year. OTT Content Creators Share Views Over New Rules & Regulations By Government

After a lot of complaints against the OTT platforms for showing objectionable content, the government of India, on Thursday (February 25), decided to tighten the grip over digital platforms including social media by introducing a new set of guidelines. And now, over new rules and regulations, the OTT content creators have shared their views and some of them are sensing these regulations indirect censorship.## Pritish Nandy, creator of the popular web series "Four More Shots Please", tells IANS, "Without doubt, the purpose of this regulation is to have greater control over digital media and OTT platforms, which have in recent times demonstrated amazing power and reach through their content. The banality of Bollywood has been left miles behind by new-age original content. Indian content makers have also shown that they can compete against the best in the world".## Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, who has created web series such as "Twisted", "Maaya" and "Twisted 3", says, "Unfortunately, the nature of politics is to make issues and there is nothing that makes issues better than Bollywood and showbiz. Yesterday, people were more interested in OTT and social media than in Nirav Modi's extradition. This is the nature of the beast. I think we can shout, scream and go crazy, that's the rule of the game".## "Every country has a safe zone and as long as you play in the safe zone, things are fine. The minute you step out of it, you will be penalized. That is the rule of the game whether you like it or not. You can scream blue murder, nothing is going to happen. For years filmmakers have asked the government to turn films into a regulatory system like the OTT. The censor board gives certification but they are still giving cuts. It has been years and years now, and all my career I have been waiting for something to happen but nothing did", he added. ## Writer Sumrit Shahi says, "It is indirect censorship. It is trying to form an opinion on what can be seen or not. Unlike television or films, which are means of collective experience, OTT content was meant for private viewership. OTT content by its nature was meant for individual consumption, hence the idea was to giving people the choice to view. Censorship is made keeping these things in mind".## According to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B), the OTT platforms would self-classify the content into five age-based categories - U (Universal), U/A 7+, U/A 13+, U/A 16+, and A (Adult). Veteran actor Gulshan Grover says he has respect for OTT platforms but theatres define the festive experience of watching films, and it is something that has been missing over the past year because of the complete closure of cinemas due to the covid-19 pandemic.## "For almost a year now, we have been watching films and series on OTT in our homes. We have been watching content from across the world. The OTT has its own advantages but we also want to get out there and want to have a real experience of watching a film", said Grover at the trailer launch of the upcoming film Mumbai Saga on Friday in Mumbai.## Talking about the filmmakers who have gone ahead and decided to release their movies in theaters amid the covid-19 protocols, Gulshan Grover added that it is a gusty and brave move by them to accept those protocols in safeguarding the audience while watching movies in theaters. So, it all comes back. As for competition among producers, there is no competition at the moment. They all want to get to a theatre somehow or the other. Gangubai Kathiawadi can affect Radhe Shyam's Hindi market, otherwise, Prabhas starrer has a clear-cut advantage of Pan India release. ## LIGER v/s BHOOT POLICE (September 9-10)## South heartthrob, Vijay Deverakonda, and Ananya Pandey's first Pan India film will have to face a tough challenge from Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arjun Kapoor, and Yami Gautam starrer horror-comedy film, Bhoot Police. While Liger will hit theaters on Sep 9, Bhoot Police will be arriving a day later on Sep. 10. ## RRR v/s MAIDAAN (Dussehra weekend)## A clash that can set the Indian box office on fire. Producer Boney Kapoor wasn't pleased with SS Rajamouli when he announced the release date of RRR. Both the movies have Ajay Devgn connection as in Maidaan, he is playing lead and has a cameo in Rajamouli's RRR starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. Delayed due to the covid-19 pandemic, the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2021 ceremony was finally held on Saturday to honor the talented artists for their outstanding contribution to the Indian cinema. Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone bagged the best actor's award in the star-studded ceremony for their acclaimed performances in notable movies 'Laxmii', and 'Chhapaak' respectively in Male and Female category. ## Late Sushant Singh Rajput, who died by suicide last year, honored with the 'Best Actor' critics choice award for his performance in his last movie, 'Dil Bechara' while Kiara Advani claimed 'Best Actress' critics choice award for 'Guilty'. Both Dil Bechara and Guilty had a direct to digital release on Disney Plus Hotstar and Netflix respectively. ## Among the other award winner, Ajay Devgn starrer, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior won the "Best Film" of 2020. Tanhaji was the highest grosser Indian film of 2020 as it earned over INR 360 crores worldwide. 'Just Fabulous', Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin Showered Praise On Mohanlal Starrer 'Drishyam 2'

Ever since Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's suspense thriller, Drishyam 2 has premiered on Amazon Prime Video, it has been receiving an unpreceded response from every part of the country. Many people have called "Drishyam 2" the best sequel ever made for an Indian film. While the movie is continuing to win accolades, Indian cricket team player, Ravichandran Ashwin has also made his review for the movie. ## On February 21, Ashwin watched Drishyam 2 and he was blown away by the twist and turns in the film, especially the court scene that comprised the climax. The ace cricketer has not only liked the film but also urged people to watch from Drishyam 1. Mohanlal, who played the lead role in the film, managed to notice Ashwin's tweet 2 days later and thanked him. The story of the film follows the struggle of Georgekutty (Mohanlal) and his family, who come under suspicion when Varun Prabhakar, the son of the Inspector-general of police (IG), goes missing. ## Drishyam 2 is directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor under his production company Aashirvad Cinemas. Pooja Entertainment Announces It's Next, A Magnum Opus Titled 'Suryaputra Mahavir Karna'

One of the leading production houses, Pooja Entertainment has announced its mega budgeted project. Based on the life of Karna from Mahabharata, the production house has unveiled the title logo of the movie, titled, "Suryaputra Mahavir Karna". The magnum opus will be directed by RS Vimal, best known for his 2015's Mayalayam movie, Ennu Ninte Moideen. ## The movie will be produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Jackky Bhagnani while the dialogues, lyrics, and additional screenplay are penned by Dr. Kumar Vishwas. It will be a multilingual movie that will be releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
