Delayed due to the covid-19 pandemic, the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2021 ceremony was finally held on Saturday to honor the talented artists for their outstanding contribution to the Indian cinema. Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone bagged the best actor's award in the star-studded ceremony for their acclaimed performances in notable movies 'Laxmii', and 'Chhapaak' respectively in Male and Female category. ## Late Sushant Singh Rajput, who died by suicide last year, honored with the 'Best Actor' critics choice award for his performance in his last movie, 'Dil Bechara' while Kiara Advani claimed 'Best Actress' critics choice award for 'Guilty'. Ajay Devgn along with producers Bhushan Kumar, Vajir Singh, and others also have cracked a solid deal with Hotstar for Bhuj. The film has been sold for a whopping price of Rs 112 crores. That also makes Bhuj the second highest-earning film to release on OTT platforms this year after Laxmmi Bomb so far".## It is important to highlight that because of the stardom of Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, both the movies could have earned more had it released in the theaters first.
