Kartik Aaryan's Creature-Comedy 'Naagzilla' Officially Announced With Release Date

Mumbai, April 22 - Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan has reunited with Karan Johar's Dharma Production for a creature comedy Naagzilla. The movie has been in the news for the past few weeks, and the makers officially confirmed it with the first look poster and release date. ## Naagzilla will be directed by the Fukrey director, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, and it will hit the big screen on August 14, 2026, ahead of Independence Day and Nag Panchami. The film, Kartik Aaryan will play the role of a Snake-Man, and he will be fighting the snakes in the movie.## The upcoming film is a one-of-a-kind creature comedy in Indian cinema. Dharma Productions 'Dhadak 2' Release Date Postponed

Mumbai, October 14 - Dharma Productions' love story drama Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri has reportedly been postponed to the next year. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the movie is a spiritual sequel to Dhadak (2018), starring Ishaan Khatter, and Janhvi Kapoor. ## Dhadak 2, which is said to be a remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018), was announced on November 22, 2024, release. Mumbai, October 7 - Filmmaker Karan Johar's Dharma Productions announced on Monday that it will stop pre-release screenings of its future movies. The studio, like many others, used to host media screenings a day or two before the release dates. ## Describing this decision as a crucial measure to preserve the excitement surrounding the movie-going experience, Dharma said in a statement shared with the media, "This decision has been difficult to make, however, we believe it's a necessary step in ensuring that every viewer, including our friends in the media, witness our stories as they were meant to be experienced".## "We believe it will help in maintaining the excitement of the cinematic experience for all", the statement reads. The studio, however, is not entirely stopping the media screening as it confirmed in the statement that going forward, the press screening of each movie will now be hosted in the first half of the release day. ## "We warmly welcome all media personnel to join us at these screenings, where you will be the first to witness our latest offerings.
