Box Office: Srikanth Tops 50 Crore Gross Worldwide
Mumbai, May 30 - Rajkummar Rao's biographical drama Srikanth has emerged as a surprise winner of the year as the movie has topped 50 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office amid low expectations. ## Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, Srikanth grossed approximately 49.50 crores worldwide, including 47 crores domestically and an estimated 2.50 crores overseas in the first 20 days. It has topped the 50 crores gross mark on its third Thursday (21st day). ## Srikanth is only the second film of Rajkummar Rao to reach the mini milestone of 50 crores worldwide after Stree in a leading role. The actor played a supporting role in Bareilly Ki Barfi which grossed approximately 58.60 crores worldwide. ## Produced by T-Series and Chalk and Cheese Films, Srikanth has benefitted from the open run due to the lack of notable releases over the last few weeks. It will now have competition from Rajkummar Rao himself as his second film of the month, Mr and Mrs Mahi, co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, is releasing on May 31st. ## Stay tuned...
