Box Office: 'Bad Newz' Surpasses 100 Crore Worldwide Gross Collection
Mumbai, August 1 - Dharma Production's comedy-drama Bad Newz has surpassed 100 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office. The movie is co-produced by Amazon Prime Video and Leo Media Collective and is directed by Anand Tiwari.



The movie, which stars Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk in the leading roles, topped 100 crores worldwide on its 13th day. The movie has grossed approximately 66.50 crores (55.85 crores net) in India and an estimated 34 crores gross overseas for 100+ crores worldwide cume.



With its entry into the 100 crores worldwide gross club, Bad Newz has become the 13th Bollywood movie and the 8th Hindi title of 2024 to achieve the feat. For Vicky Kaushal, it is his 3rd 100 crores gross out of the last 4 films in the leading roles, after Zara Hatke Zara Bachke and Sam Bahadur.



In between the aforementioned hits, Vicky Kaushal was also a part of Shah Rukh Khan-fronted Dunki which grossed over 400 crores worldwide. The actor played an extended appearance in Rajkumar Hirani's directorial comedy drama.



Actress Triptii Dimri, who became a nationwide sensation after playing a supporting role in Ranbir Kapoor-led mega-blockbuster Animal, scored her box office hit and 100 crore grosser in the leading role while Ammy Virk too has his first success which is second theatrical Hindi film after Ranveer Singh-fronted 83. Bad Newz is also director Anand Tiwari's first theatrical Hindi release.
