Box Office: 'Munjya' Score Fantastic First Week

The Aditya Sarpotdar's directorial movie cleared the 35 crores mark after scoring an estimated 3.75-4 crores net on its first Thursday. Interestingly, or rather incredibly, the collection of Munjya remained in the range of the 4 crores mark which indicates a long run for the movie at the domestic box office.

The opening week collection of Munjya is the 7th biggest first week total for a Bollywood movie of 2024. It is expected to remain strong in the second week despite the arrival of Kartik Aaryan's Chandu Champion and will aim to reach 50 crores mark by the second weekend itself.

Munjya is the 4th movie in Maddock Films' horror-comedy universe after Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya and is currently the third highest-grosser in the series. The movie has a good chance of beating Bhediya in the long run to become the second-biggest film in the series after Stree.
