Box Office: Top 5 Biggest Openers Of Vicky Kaushal; 'Bad Newz' Tops

Mumbai, July 20 - Actor Vicky Kaushal's comedy-drama Bad Newz, also starring Tripti Dimri and Ammy Virk, has taken a good start at the domestic box office, scoring approximately 8.30 crores net, which is the fifth biggest opening for a Bollywood movie of 2024.
Directed by Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz surpassed expectations and delivered the biggest opening day for Vicky Kaushal as well as for Tripti Dimri in the leading role. It has surpassed URI: The Surgical Strike, which is Kaushal's highest-grosser to date, to deliver the biggest start for the actor.

For Tripti Dimri, Bad Newz is her first major theatrical release in the leading role after becoming a sensation for playing a small role in Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna-led Animal last year which was a massive box office blockbuster.
