After entertaining the nation all over again, Doordarshan (DD National) aired the last episode of the historical blockbuster 'Ramayan' on May 2. The rebroadcast of the show broke all the viewership records with unpreceded Television Rating Point (TRP) and becomes the most-watched entertainment show in the world for any TV show with 77 M (7.7 Crore) people watched the show across the world.

During the lockdown, the Doordarshan re-telecasted the show between the month of March and April with the last episode on May 2. However, the fans will continue to be entertained as Doordarshan is re-telecasting 'Shri Krishna' from May 3 at 9:00 PM every day and repeat telecast at 9:00 am.
