Mumbai, May 15, 2021: Mumbai Police, who is known for giving witty replies and spreading awareness through quirky takes on social media, have given a witty twist to the much-hyped and upcoming "Friends" reunion special, in a bid to create Covid-19 awareness among citizens.



The official Twitter handle of Mumbai Police shared a snapshot of the "Friends" reunion teaser and urged everyone to reunite with friends only after the final season of Covid-19, until then, online meet-ups should be followed.



"'Reunite' with your F.R.I.E.N.D.S - but only after the final season of #COVID19 please? Till then, online meet-ups will 'be there for you' #FriendsForever #FriendsOfSafety #TakingOnCorona", Mumbai Police tweeted.



This is not the first time Mumbai Police has shared or referred to the entertainment world to create awareness during the covid-19 pandemic. Previously, they have tweeted with stills and dialogues from films like "Uri: The Surgical Strike", "Gulabo Sitabo", "Main Hoon Na", and "Stree" among many others for the purpose.



Meanwhile, the "Friends" reunion special series, will be streaming on Warner Bros' HBO Max on 27 May. The series will not stream in India as HBO Max is not available in the country. Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, Friends is an American television sitcom.



Friends, starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, aired on the American television network NBC from 22 September 1994 to 6 May 2004, lasting ten seasons. It is now available for Indian audiences on Netflix.

The Rosshan Andrrews-directed film was a big box office hit and Prithviraj's performance was regarded as one of his career-best.## According to a peepingmoon.com report (now deleted), the rumored talks regarding the Hindi remake are in the advanced stage with Siddharth Roy Kapur's Roy Kapur Films bankrolling it. According to the police, the actors went out for a drive without a valid reason.## On Tuesday evening, the two were stopped by policemen on patrolling duty at Bandra Bandstand. Shroff is a resident of Bandra (West), the police said. The Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) is currently probing the death along with Enforcement Directorate (ED) and now the Narcotics department after the latest revelations. ## As per the latest development in the case, the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has slapped a show-cause notice to the Cooper Hospital along with Mumbai Police and Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday demanding an explanation for granting mortuary access to Rhea Chakraborty when the postmortem was being conducted, according to IANS. ## Treating the matter as a priority, the SHRC has ordered the police and civic authorities to submit their detailed explanation in the matter by Monday.## SHRC Acting Chairman M.A. Sayeed confirmed to IANS but declined to elaborate. However, official sources said that the SHRC officials had viewed the video and news reports of Rhea Chakraborty's June 14 visit to the mortuary of R.N.
