Produced by Sun Pictures, Coolie marks one of the most ambitious collaborations in recent Indian cinema, with its scale, ensemble cast, and international release strategy generating massive buzz across the board, not just only in India.

With three weeks to go before the release, the advance booking for the film has opened in North America, one of the key international markets for Indian titles. The movie will be released by Prathyangira Cinemas in North America, while overall overseas release will be handled by Hamsini Entertainment.

According to Venky box office, the film already sold 4,570 tickets for 240 premiere shows across the U.S. and Canada, collecting a whopping $128,000 in pre-sales for the August 13 premiere alone.
