Superstar Yash's Both Blockbuster KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF: Chapter 2 Set Release Date In Japan

Tokyo, July 11 - Superstar Yash's blockbuster KGF franchise (KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF: Chapter 2) is getting ready to release in Japan this July by Twin Movies which also distributed SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster "RRR" last year and scored a massive blockbuster.

Twin Movies will release both KGF 1 and KGF 2 simultaneously on July 14. The Japanese version poster and trailer with Japanese language subtitles were released last month confirming the 14th July release.

Meanwhile, Yash shared a video message to promote both movies among the Japanese audience. The video was shared via Hombale Films' social media accounts. "We are thrilled to announce that the much-awaited release of #KGFChapter1 & #KGFChapter2 is happening in Japan for the FIRST time ever! Experience the breathtaking journey of Rocky Bhai as he rises to power and takes on the world of crime! Mark your calendars and get ready to witness the cinematic marvel that has captured hearts worldwide!", the caption read.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF2 was released in April last year and went on to become the highest-grossing Indian movie of the year and 3rd highest of all time with a worldwide gross collection of over 1200 crores. KGF1, which was released in 2018, grossed around 237 crores worldwide and was the highest-grossing Kannada film at that time.

The franchise tells the story of the "KGF," the "Koral Gold Fields," and the protagonist, Rocky played by Yash. Produced by Hombale Films, the second installment also stars Sanjay Dutt as the main antagonist alongside Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, and others in key roles.
