Box Office: Aranmanai 4 Becomes The Highest-Grossing Tamil Movie of 2024

Chennai, May 20 - Actor and director Sundar C's horror-comedy Aranmanai 4 has become the highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2024 at the worldwide box office, beating Sivakarthikeyan's sci-fi adventure Ayalaan. ## Starring Sundar C, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Raashii Khanna, the fourth instalment of the hit franchise has grossed approximately 62 crores at the domestic box office, including approximately 56.50 crores in Tamil and 5.50 crores in the Telugu version.## The overseas collection of Aranmanai 4 is an estimated 16 crores, pushing the worldwide cume total to 78 crores gross in 17 days. Ayalaan had grossed approximately 76.50 crores and is now the second highest-grossing Tamil film of the year. ## Aranmanai 4 is the highest-grossing film in the franchise, surpassing the lifetime collection of its predecessor which grossed an estimated 30-40 crores worldwide. Box Office: Aranmanai 4 Tops 50 Crore Gross Collection In India

Chennai, May 13 - Actor and filmmaker Sundar C's Aranmanai 4 has become the third Tamil movie of 2024 to top 50 crores gross collection at the Indian box office after Dhanush's Captain Miller and Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan. ## Starring Tamannah Bhatia and Raashii Khanna in the leading roles, the 4th instalment of the horror-comedy franchise minted approximately 49.30 crores gross in India through the second weekend and on its 11th day (2nd Monday), it has topped the 50 crores gross mark. ## The Tamil version of the film has contributed approximately 45 crores gross while the Telugu version scored around 4.30 crores gross in 10 days so far. The movie is likely to become the highest-grossing Tamil title of the year by crossing Ayalaan (58.75 crores approx.) and Captain Miller (58 crores approx.)## It has been a much-needed success for Kollywood which was going through a dry phase in the absence of big star films. Box Office: Aranmanai 4 Records Very Good Opening Weekend; Surpasses Lifetime Domestic Total of Lal Salaam

Chennai, May 6 - Aranmanai 4 scored a very good opening weekend at the domestic box office with superb occupancy across Tamil Nadu state which saw it crossing the lifetime domestic total of Lal Salaam in which superstar Rajinikanth played the extended role. ## Directed by Sundar C, the horror comedy minted approximately 22 crores gross in India, including 20 crores in Tamil and 2 crores in Telugu in the first three-day weekend. Lal Salaam had grossed approximately 21 crores in its entire run. In Tamil Nadu, the movie has minted approximately 18.25 crores gross.## The opening weekend of 22 crores of Aranmanai 4 is the second biggest for a Tamil movie domestically, behind only Dhanush's Captain Miller which grossed approximately 27.60 crores in the first 3 days. With this, it has become the third highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2024 in India in its original run. ## The film is the fourth installment in the Aranmanai film series which kicked off in 2014. Box Office: Aranmanai 4 Jumped Big On The Second Day

Chennai, May 5 - Horror-comedy Aranmanai 4 is set to change the fortune of the Tamil film industry which has had an underwhelming year so far at the box office. The movie took the second-biggest opening for a Tamil title this year and has strengthened its position with the big jump on the second day. ## Directed by Sundar C, Aranmanai 4 witnessed a jump of around 43% on its second day to score approximately 7.65 crores gross collection, pushing total collection to around 13 crores in two days at the domestic box office. In Tamil Nadu, the movie has minted around 10.25 crores gross. ## The Tamil version of the film has alone minted approximately 11.75 crores while the Telugu version has grossed 1.25 crores gross. The Tamil version alone minted an estimated 4.75 crores gross while the Telugu version scored around 55 lakh gross. ## The opening of Aranmanai 4 is the second biggest for a Tamil title in 2024 after Dhanush's Captain Miller which minted approximately 10 crores gross opening day. It has beaten the likes of Lal Salaam, and Ayalaan.
