Box Office: Aranmanai 4 Becomes The Highest-Grossing Tamil Movie of 2024

Chennai, May 20 - Actor and director Sundar C's horror-comedy Aranmanai 4 has become the highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2024 at the worldwide box office, beating Sivakarthikeyan's sci-fi adventure Ayalaan.
Starring Sundar C, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Raashii Khanna, the fourth instalment of the hit franchise has grossed approximately 62 crores at the domestic box office, including approximately 56.50 crores in Tamil and 5.50 crores in the Telugu version.
The overseas collection of Aranmanai 4 is an estimated 16 crores, pushing the worldwide cume total to 78 crores gross in 17 days. Ayalaan had grossed approximately 76.50 crores and is now the second highest-grossing Tamil film of the year.
Aranmanai 4 is the highest-grossing film in the franchise, surpassing the lifetime collection of its predecessor which grossed an estimated 30-40 crores worldwide. The first two films combined grossed around 40 crores worldwide.
