Mumbai, May 14 - After the blockbuster comeback with three continues blockbusters in 2023, superstar Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to start his film King, to be directed by Siddharth Anand. The movie has maintained the hype despite no official announcement. There is massive curiosity among the fans for King, which is getting bigger and bigger with each passing day, with its casting. It was already confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan would be making her big screen debut with King, before Abhishek Bachchan and Munjyaa fame Abhay Varma joined them. Recently, it was revealed that Arshad Warsi came on board the film to play a pivotal role, marking his maiden film with Shah Rukh Khan. A few days ago, reports confirmed that veteran Anil Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, along with Jackie Shroff, have also joined King for a key role in the film. Now, according to the recent reports, Rani Mukerji and Jaideep Ahlawat, along with Raghav Juyal, have joined the cast of King. Rani reunites with Shah Rukh Khan after doing films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, among others and will be playing an extended but crucial cameo role in the movie. "King has one of the biggest ensembles for a feature film in modern times, as every character has been cast to perfection with actors who fit the bill to the T. Apart from this ensemble, King will also feature some more actors to play relatively small but important roles in the film". King features Shah Rukh Khan as an assassin, and the makers have gone all out to design a theatrical extravaganza for the audience. Mumbai, May 14 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's historical drama Kesari: Chapter 2 has been hailed as one of the best Indian films of the year, and after the successful stint in the original Hindi version, the movie is set for dubbed release. ## On Wednesday (May 14), the makers announced that Kesari 2 will be released in the dubbed Telugu version on May 23. It will be released through Rana Daggubati's Suresh Productions. Duggubati had earlier watched the movie and called it the best of 2025. ## The film is produced by Dharma Productions in association with Leo Media Collective and Cape of Good Films. The movie was originally released on April 18 and went on to become a box office success. In 26 days so far, the film has grossed approximately 137 crores worldwide, including 104.75 crores gross collection in India. ## Kesari 2 is a spiritual sequel to Kesari (2019), and the plot is based on the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. Hyderabad, May 14 - Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda's much-awaited Pan India movie Kingdom will not be released on May 30. There have been rumours of the film's postponement, and the makers confirmed the same on Wednesday. ## The makers revealed in a statement that the recent events have made it difficult for them to promote the film and celebrate. The makers hope that their decision to postpone Kingdom will help them to present the movie in the best possible way, as they confirmed that the movie will now be released on July 4 in theatres worldwide. ## Kingdom is a spy action thriller, directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced by Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Creations, and Srikara Studios. Mumbai, May 13 - Superstar Aamir Khan and maverick director Rajkumar Hirani are one of the most successful duos in the Bollywood cinema. They have collaborated on two films in the past, 3 Idiots (2009) and PK (2014), which not only became huge blockbusters but are also considered among the finest Bollywood films ever. ## According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the blockbuster combo is in talks to reunite for their third collaboration and the discussion is said to be in the advanced stage. "Rajkummar Hirani was toying with 3 ideas, and he has finally decided to move ahead with a subject. He discussed the same with Aamir Khan, and the actor has also loved the world that Raju is developing", says the report.## The report confirmed that both Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani have principally agreed on the film and are eyeing to take it on the floors by 2026. It will be the director's next directorial venture after the 2023 comedy drama Dunki, starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan. ## It is said that Hirani was also discussing a film each with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, but the dates didn't align with either of the two actors, due to their packed schedule. Kochi, May 13 - The Kerala box office is witnessing a history to unfold as superstar Mohanlal's drama thriller Thudarum has become the first film ever to enter the 100 crore club in the state. It took just 19 days to achieve the historic milestone. ## Thudarum was released on April 25 and scored a fantastic 5+ crore gross opening in the home state. The positive word of mouth helped the movie to score big gains over the weekend, followed by the sensational hold during the weekdays, as it scored approximately 47 crores gross in Kerala in the first week. ## Even after the big first week, the Tharun Moorthy's directorial remained a strong force at the box office and grossed a solid approximately 36.75 crore in the second week, followed by another 11.75 crore gross in the third weekend. On its 3rd Tuesday, the film enters the 100 crore club in Kerala and scripts a red-letter moment for the state's box office. ## With this, Kerala has become the 5th South Indian state after Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka to have a 100 crore grossing film. Mumbai, May 13 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's hugely anticipated action thriller King is getting bigger with each passing day, with its casting. The film will be directed by Siddharth Anand, who reunites with King Khan after the mega blockbuster Pathaan (2023). ## Recently, it was reported that Arshad Warsi joined the cast of King, and now, according to the latest report by Pinkvilla, veteran Anil Kapoor has also joined the film. He will reportedly play the role of SRK's mentor. "Shah Rukh Khan plays an assassin in King, Anil Kapoor will be seen as his handler", says the report.## "There were multiple actors considered for the part, but the team amicably feels that Anil Kapoor suits the role to the T. Anil Kapoor is also excited to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan on this mega-budget actioner", the report further states.## The shoot of King will commence in Mumbai between the window of May 18 to May 20. Kochi, May 11 - A day after becoming the highest-grossing film ever in Kerala, superstar Mohanlal's drama thriller Thudarum has topped 200 crores at the worldwide box office and emerged the third Malayalam movie of all-time to do so. ## The film has taken just 17 days to pull off the double century, which makes it the second fastest Mollywood title after Empuraan to do so. Directed by Tharun Moorthy, Thudarum is estimated to have grossed around 205 crores globally, including 115 crores in India and around 90 crores overseas through the third Sunday (17 days). ## Before Thudarum, Mohanlal's Empuraan (267 crore) and Manjummel Boys (241 crores) achieved the milestone of a 200 crore Mollywood grosser. Empuraan, which was released in March this year, is also the highest-grossing Malayalam film and the domestic as well as overseas box office. ## The Kerala gross collection of the latest blockbuster is nearing 95 crores, and it will be entering the 100 crores club this week to become the first film to achieve the milestone in the state. Mumbai, May 11 - Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise is once again set to display his stardom among the Indian audience as his spy action thriller, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, is heading for a big opening at the Indian box office upon its release on May 17. ## The Christopher McQuarrie's directorial sequel to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023) is hitting fantastic advances in India. With 6 days still to go before the release, the blockbuster has sold over 12,000 advance tickets in the three multiplex chains (PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis) for the opening weekend. ## For the opening day alone, The Final Reckoning has sold over 8K tickets in PIC, which is fantastic. The pre-sales are mainly scoring in the premium format. It needs to be seen how the pre-sales progress leading up to the release date, but the early signs are super positive. ## Dead Reckoning was a big hit and took the opening of approximately 15 crore gross in India. Here, the upcoming tentpole to expected to hit 20 crores gross or higher opening, given that it will be released on Saturday (May 17) and also be the final film in the Mission: Impossible franchise. ## As said, the predecessor was a big success with the lifetime gross collection of 131+ crores in India. Kochi, May 11 - Superstar Mohanlal's mega blockbuster drama thriller Thudarum has become the highest-grossing film ever at the Kerala box office, beating 2023 blockbuster survival thriller 2018 Movie in just 16 days. ## The film, directed by Tharun Moorthy, grossed approximately 90.25 crores in Kerala in 16 days and surpassed the lifetime Kerala gross of 2018, which was around 88.50 crores. The movie is now marching towards the rare 100 crore club in the state, and it is expected to achieve the feat this week. ## At the worldwide box office, Thudarum is set to cross 200 crores gross collection today, on its 17th day after grossing approximately 196 crores in the first 16 days (through the third Saturday). It will become only the third Malayalam movie of all time after Manjummel Boys (241 crore) and Empuraan (267 crore) to enter the 200 crore club. ## In 16 days so far, the movie has minted around 109 crore gross in India, which is the third highest for a Malayalam movie, and around 86 crore gross at the overseas box office. Mumbai, May 10 - National multiplex theatre chain, PVRINOX, has reportedly sued producer Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films for cancelling the theatrical release date of its romantic comedy drama Bhool Chuk Maaf at the last minute. ## A day before the film's release on May 9, Maddock Films and Amazon Prime issued a statement stating that the theatrical release of Bhool Chuk Maaf was called off aftermath of the ongoing border conflict between India and Pakistan. The studio announced that the movie would now be released directly on Prime Video on May 9. ## According to the report by Bollywood Hungama, PVR Inox has decided to take legal action against the production house for damages of Rs. 60 crores for non-playability of the movie. While Maddock stated the conflict as the reason behind the decision, the theatre alleged that the decision was taken due to poor advance booking. ## "PVR has submitted their case in the Bombay High Court. The matter became serious as all the contracts were signed, and then suddenly Maddock backed off. Hence, this is a case of breach of contract", says the report quoting a source. ## Directed by Karan Sharma, Bhool Chuk Maaf stars Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have announced the official first look title of its next Monsterverse film, the sequel to Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024). ## Directed by Grant Sputore, the film has been titled as Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, and it is currently in production. The movie will hit the big screen on March 26, 2027, the studio re-confirmed its previous release date announcement. ## Along with the title announcement, a short teaser was also released, which shows an office for Monarch, the shadowy organisation that tracks the gigantic, city-destroying monsters called Titans, where a computer gives a real-life hotline that fans can call to receive an automated message. Mumbai, May 9 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn-fronted crime drama thriller Raid 2 has topped 100 crores net collection, becoming the 4th Bollywood movie of the year to do so. It achieved the milestone of 100 crores net on its second Friday (9th day). ## Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, the sequel is looking to score around 5 crore net today, which will take its total collection to around 101 crore in 9 days. The movie has shown a strong hold with almost zero drop today, which indicates a strong second weekend. ## Raid 2 is the 4th Bollywood film of 2025 after Sikandar (110 crores), Sky Force (113.50+ crores), and Chhaava (600+ crores) to enter the coveted 100 crores net club. It has become the 129th Hindi film and 15th for Ajay Devgn to achieve the feat. ## It is among the very few Bollywood titles of the year to emerge as a box office hit.
