Box Office: 'Devara: Part 1' Second Day/First Saturday Early Estimates

Hyderabad, September 28 - After the sensational opening day, Jr. NTR-fronted action drama Devara: Part 1 scored a good hold on its first Saturday with a drop of around 50% which is expected for a South Indian movie with massive opening. ## On its second day, Devara is estimated to gross 26-27+ crores in Telugu states while 6-7 crore gross is expected in Karnataka and 2.50-3 crores is from Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Amid the expected drop in South Indian states, the North India belt witnessed a jump as Devara is estimated to gross in the range of 11-12 crores in this region. ## The Hindi version of the movie is turning out to be a surprise box office success. After the good opening day of 7.50 crores net, the dubbed version scored a jump of 15-20% on Saturday for an estimated 8.50-9 crores net collection.## Overall, Devara is estimated to gross in the range of 47-48 crores (40 crores net) on its second day at the domestic box office which is a fantastic collection. The total collection of the movie is around 122 crores net (144 crores gross) in 2 days, per estimates. ## There is a possibility of a higher collection on day 2 if mass centers are said strong as the opening day. Box Office: 'Devara: Part 1' Scored All-Time Second Biggest Opening In Telugu States

Hyderabad, September 28 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's Devara: Part 1 was released on September 27 and took an excellent opening of 145 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office, including approximately 98 crore gross in India and 47 crore gross overseas. ## While the worldwide opening of Devara is the 6th biggest for an Indian movie, it performed exceptionally well in 2 Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) to score the second biggest start there, behind only RRR, which also starred Jr. NTR with Ram Charan. ## Devara grossed an estimated 74.30 crores in AP-TG on its first day, behind RRR which scored over 100 crores gross collection in Telugu states. Hyderabad, September 27 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 has set the box office on fire to score one of the biggest openings for an Indian movie at the domestic box office, and by far the biggest solo start for the actor. ## The movie recorded sensational pre-sales which led to the foundation of a monstrous start and after the early morning and midnight shows, where it scored decent word of mouth, Devara was unstoppable throughout the day with excellent occupancies, especially in Telugu states. ## According to early estimates, Devara is looking to gross 70+ crore in two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) which is easily one of the biggest starts there. Jr. NTR's 'Devara: Part 1' Opening Day Box Office Expectations

Mumbai, September 26 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR returns to the big screens with director Koratala Siva's action drama Devara: Part 1 which is set to unleash at the box office tomorrow, September 27. It is the actor's first film since SS Rajamouli's directorial blockbuster RRR in March 2022. ## Devara has been creating waves with its advance booking response for the last few days. The movie's pre-sales have crossed 40 crores gross for the opening day in India (including block seats) while worldwide sales have surpassed the 75 crores mark which is one of the biggest for an Indian movie.## The historic pre-sales response to Devara has confirmed 100+ crores worldwide start at the box office and this will be Jr. NTR's back-to-back 100 crores opener and first solo movie to take this sort of opening at the box office. Hyderabad, September 3 - Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's blockbuster action drama Gabbar Singh was re-released on the occasion of his birthday yesterday and as expected, the movie scored the biggest opening for a re-release Indian movie at the worldwide box office. ## Gabbar Singh had previews on Sunday before a full-fledged release the next day. The film grossed approximately 6.25 crores in India on its opening day, including previews. This makes it the biggest re-release domestic opener, beating Mahesh Babu's Murari and Thalapathy Vijay's Ghilli which grossed around 4.75 crores each. ## Overseas, Harish Shankar's directorial scored around 75 lahks, for a worldwide opening of 7+ crores. It comes as a needed breather for the Telugu film industry after the disastrous Independence Day week releases.## Directed by Vivek Athreya, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram had a good first 2 days with a worldwide box collection of approximately 28.50 crores gross, including approximately 17.50 crores domestically. The movie is having a very good first Saturday (3rd day), expected to be around 10 crore gross domestically.## The movie is heading towards 43+ crores worldwide gross after the 3rd day, and this is one of the biggest opening weekends for a Telugu title of 2024.
