Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki' To Release A Day Early In International Markets
Mumbai, September 26 - The first-time collaboration of two of the most powerful forces of Indian cinema, superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani for a comedy-drama Dunki, is creating a lot of buzz among the audiences as well as the trade. ## "Dunki", which is based on illegal immigration, is currently in the post-production work as it is scheduled to be released on December 22 in the domestic market. Meanwhile, according to Pinkvilla, the movie will be hitting cinemas a day early in the international markets according to a well-planned statrgy by the makers.## It is said that the makers are proceeding with the full-fledged release on December 21 in the entire international markets to get the benefit of the extended Christmas holiday period. The idea is to maximize word of mouth and get the audience excited for the conventional weekend from Friday to Sunday. Yash Raj Films will distribute the movie in overseas markets.## The report further revealed that "Dunki" has been confirmed for Christmas release. The test screening of the movie has already taken place and it met with overwhelming responses. Meanwhile, superstar Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel's "Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire" is also releasing on December 22nd and the official announcement for the same is expected to be made on September 29th.## "Dunki" is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment with Jio Studios and Rajkumar Hirani Films.
