Dhanush's Box Office Blockbuster 'Raayan' Sets Digital Release Date

Chennai, August 17 - Tamil star Dhanush's action thriller Raayan is all set to premiere digitally after the record-breaking box office performance. The movie is written, directed, and stars Dhanush in the leading role alongside Sundeep Kishan, Selvaraghavan, Kalidas Jayaram, and Dushara Vijayan, among others.## Released on July 26, the A-rated blockbuster is the highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2024 so far with a worldwide box office collection of around 152 crores gross. The movie has been in theatres for more than three weeks and is now set for its digital release.## Produced by Sun Pictures, Raayan will premiere via Amazon Prime Video on August 23 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada, languages. Chennai, August 4 - Tamil action thriller Raayan has become the highest-grossing film for the actor Dhanush after the excellent second weekend at the worldwide box office in which it also became the actor's third 100 crores grosser.## Directed by Dhanush, Raayan has beaten the entire run of Thiruchitrambalam (117 crores worldwide gross) on its second Sunday in just 10 days. The movie is looking to score around 10 crores worldwide on Sunday, which will take its total collection to around 123 crores gross. ## Interestingly, Thiruchitrambalam became actor Dhanush's first 100 crores grosser in 2022, followed by Vaathi which grossed approximately 116 crores in 2023. Dhanush's 'Raayan' Gets 'A' Rating From CBFC; Runtime Revealed

Chennai, July 9 - Actor and filmmaker Dhanush's second directorial venture Raayan has been censored with an 18+ rating by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for extreme display of violence, opposite of the actor's first directorial movie, Pa Paandi (2017) which was rated with a 'U' certificate. ## Raayan was censored on July 9, Tuesday, with an 'A' rating and the approved runtime of 2 hours and 25 minutes (145 minutes) which is a crisp and suitable runtime for these kinds of films. Dhanush's Much-Awaited 'Raayan' To Release On July 26

Chennai, June 10 - Sun Pictures has postponed the release of Tamil star Dhanush's second directorial venture Raayan by a month to July 2024. Dhanush is also playing the leading role in the movie alongside Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, S. J. Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Prakash Raj, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Saravanan. ## The movie, which was previously announced to be released in June, will now be released in theatres worldwide on July 26 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Dhanush's 'Raayan' Locks June 2024 Release Date

Chennai, May 6 - Tamil star Dhanush's second directorial venture Raayan which also features him in the leading role, has been announced to hit the big screens in June this year. The action thriller is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. ## Raayan has officially been confirmed to be released in June. Chennai, May 5 - Superstar Kamal Haasan's long-awaited action thriller film "Vikram" is getting ready for worldwide theatrical release on June 3rd. The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed movie will have a multilingual release and the Hindi version is backed by in-form Dr. Jayantilal Gada's Pen Marudhar studio. ## The announcement of the Hindi theatrical release was made on May 5 with a promo.
