National Award-Winning Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri Announces Reality-Based 'The Delhi Files'
Mumbai, September 13, 2021: The national award-winning filmmaker, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, has been making some bold and brilliant films of late on Indian history that shocked the world. His "The Tashkent Files" which was about the death of former Indian prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, won critical acclaim. ## After the success of The Tashkent Files, the filmmaker continued the series and announced, "The Kashmir Files", which is yet to release. The shooting of the film was recently concluded. Fronted by Anupam Kher, the film tells the story of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. Agnihotri finished the script of Kashmir files after extensive research on the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus in 1990. ## And now, continuing the "Files" series, Agnihotri has announced the last and the boldest film of the trilogy "The Delhi Files" with the tagline of "Right To Life". The filmmaker has written the script and will also be directing it. It will simultaneously be made in Hindi and Punjabi and it will jointly be produced by Abhishek Agarwal, Archana Agarwal, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, and Pallavi Joshi. ## Taking to Twitter, Agnihotri has called it his boldest move to expose a gut-wrenching tale of our times. "Hiding truth, denying justice and no value of human life are blots on our democracy. #TheDelhiFiles is my boldest and exposes a gut-wrenching tale of our times.
