Chiranjeevi Collaborates With Director Mohan Raja For Lucifer Telugu Remake; Nayanthara To Play Female Lead

Hyderabad, June 28, 2021: Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to be directed by Mohan Raja for the first time in the Telugu remake of the 2019 Malayalam film, Lucifer, starring superstar Mohanlal. While the original Lucifer was a political drama film, the Telugu remake is said to be gone through a lot of changes to appeal to the mass audience. ## Mohan Raja has said to be re-worked on the script and now the Telugu version will have new flashback episodes where Chiranjeevi will have a romantic story. The Telugu remake will reportadly have Nayanthara romancing the superstar in the film, for which, Nayan's role has been given a significant space unlike Manju Warrior;s in original film. ## It will be Chiranjeevi's 153th film of his career which will be jointly produced by Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films. Thaman S will be scoring music of the film, and he has already started working on it. Although he liked the original content, he wanted to make a lot of changes to make it mass-centric filled with love, emotion, and action in the right measure. ## Lucifer's Telugu remake is set to mark Nayanthara and Chiranjeevi's second romantic role as they earlier appeared together in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Dhanush To Collaborate With Telugu Director Venky Atluri For Another Trilingual Film!

Hyderabad, June 28, 2021: A few days after announcing his Telugu debut with Sekhar Kammula's trilingual movie, Dhanush seems to be getting more interested to work with Telugu directors. The national award-winning actor has reportadly signed his second Telugu movie with Tholi Prema director Venky Atluri. ## According to Deccan Chronicle, producer Suryadevara Nagavamsi has been planning to make a trilingual film for a long time and he has found this potential in Dhanush. Nagavamsi feels a trilingual film would do justice to the script, given Dhanush's popularity in the South and in Bollywood. ## It is said that Dhanush has agreed to work on the Atluri film. It will be Karnan actor's second back-to-back trilingual movie, to be made simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, after Sekhar Kammula's film. He already has a Hindi film, Atrangi Re, in the pipeline that is expected to release soon. ## Meanwhile, producer Nagavamsi is already working on the Bollywood remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, and co-producing the Jersey remake, which stars Shahid Kapoor. Venkatesh's Narappa To Hit Theaters In July!

Hyderabad, June 27, 2021: As theaters are set to reopen in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in July, many Telugu film producers are gearing up for the release of their films. Suresh Productions' one of the most-anticipated films, Narappa, starring Venkatesh is expected to hit big screens in the first batch of releases followed by Virata Parvam and others. Venkatesh's other film, Drushyam 2 which is an official remake of the Malayalam film Drishyam 2, has almost been confirmed for direct-to-digital release on Amazon Prime Video. Earlier, Drushyam 2 was said to be released before Narappa hit theaters, but now, as per latest buzz, Narappa will release first. 'Narappa' is the remake of the Tamil hit 'Asuran'. Venkatesh is reprising Dhanush's role.
