Mumbai, September 11 - Ajay Devgn-fronted crime thriller Raid 2 has officially been postponed to February next year. The movie is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor in the prominent roles. ## Raid 2, which is the sequel to Raid (2018), will be hitting worldwide theaters on February 21, 2025. It was supposed to be released on November 15 this year but due to another film of Ajay scheduled to be released in November in the form of Singham Again, the makers have pushed Raid 2 back by nearly 4 months. ## Just like the first movie, Raid 2 is also based on true incidents. Ajay Devgn returns to reprise his role as IRS officer Amay Patnaik, who tracks another white-collar crime. Mumbai, June 14 - On the 27th anniversary of the epic war drama Border, filmmaker JP Dutta joined hands with Bhushan Kumar of T-Series to announce its sequel with Sunny Deol returning to reprise the role from the first movie.## Kersari fame Anurag Singh will direct Border 2 which begins filming by the end of this year or early 2025. There have been reports that the movie will be released on Republic Day 2026 and now, the makers have officially confirmed the same. ## It has been revealed that India's biggest war movie will be released on January 23 (Friday), 2026, during the Republic Day weekend. The movie was announced on the 27th anniversary of the first movie which is one of the biggest Indian blockbusters ever. ## Sunny Deol, who scored a mega-blockbuster with Gadar 2 last year, will be returning to reprise his role as Maj. Mumbai, February 7 - Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor has broken a viewership record on Netflix. The action drama film scored the highest viewership for an Indian movie (direct or indirect) on the streamer in the first 10 days. ## Animal, which premiered on Netflix on January 26, has so far scored 39.3 million viewing hours from 11.7 million views in the first 10 days which is the highest ever for an Indian title. Previously, Yami Gautam-starrer Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga (direct release) was the most-watched Indian title on Netflix in the first 10 days with 29 million hours. ## Among the post-theatrical Netflix releases, SS Rajamouli's mega-hit RRR was previously the number-one watched movie at the same time with 25.5 million viewing hours, a number Animal has beaten by a long margin. It scored 20.8 million viewing hours in the opening weekend, followed by 18.5 million in the second week (January 29 - February 4). ## Animal is trending in the top 10 list in 17 countries, including number-one in India, Sri Lanka, UAE, Maldives, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Mauritius. Mumbai, January 20 - Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's A-rated action drama Animal, after debuting on December 1, 2023, proved to be one of the biggest Indian blockbusters of all time, grossing over 900 crores at the worldwide box office. ## Animal is currently in its 8th week and its theatrical run coming close to an end. Based on true incidents, the film is directed by National Award winner Sankalp Reddy. ## The espionage thriller is based on a true incident of how Indian Intelligence Officers outwitted the entire Pakistani establishment and gave the Indian armed forces the required advantage to face a two-front war during the 1971 war.## The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vidyut Jammwal, Abbas Sayyed, and Reliance Entertainment.
