Luv Ranjan And Ankur Garg Announced A Biopic On Former India Cricket Captain Sourav Ganguly
Mumbai, September 9, 2021: A couple of months ago, it was revealed that a biopic on former India cricket captain and legend of the game, Sourav Ganguly is on the cards. The cricketer himself had confirmed that he has agreed to a biopic on his life. It was reported that a big production house has reportedly met with Ganguly more than once to discuss the further course. ## Now, the biopic has officially been announced and Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg will be producing this big-budget film under the banner of Luv Films. The director and the cast of the film will be announced later once all things finalize. ## "We are thrilled to announce that Luv Films will produce Dada Sourav Ganguly's biopic. "Cricket has been my life, it gave confidence and ability to walk forward with my head held high, a journey to be cherished. Under his leadership, India won the famous Netwest trophy in England in 2001, which is remembered for Ganguly's celebration on Lords' balcony. He also led India to the ODI World Cup final in 2003. ## The movie will capture Sourav Ganguly's journey from being the Indian captain and winning international accolades for the country to being the BCCI president. Ganguly retired from cricket in 2008 after playing his last Test against Australia. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2004, one of India's highest civilian awards. ## Stay tuned...
