Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh's Names Crop Up In NCB Probe

Coming as a significant development, the names of Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Simone Khambatta have apparently emerged in the Narcotics Control Bureau's (NCB) probe into the drugs angle surrounding the mysterious death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, official sources said here on Monday, as reported by IANS. ## Though NCB Deputy Director K.P.S. Malhotra confirmed the names of the above celebrities, he denied media speculation of the agency having prepared a so-called 'hit-list' of 25 Bollywood personalities in connection with the probe as it was reported by a few news channels. ## Yesterday, the NCB officials had denied that Rhea named Sara, Rakul, and Simone during the probe but within 24 hours, the officials came up with a new twist and said that the names of these 3 came out in the investigation. ## According to Zee News, Rhea in her confession told NCB that Sara Ali Khan had accompanied Sushant Singh Rajput and other friends to Thailand. It is to be noted that Rhea while speaking to a news channel, had stated that Sushant used to live his life like a king-size and had spent Rs 70 lakh on an all-boys' trip to Thailand. ## Over a dozen persons have been arrested by the NCB so far, including Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, and several drug peddlers, narco-dealers, and suppliers.## While Rhea, Showik, and others have been sent to judicial custody, some of the drug peddlers have been remanded to NCB custody.## Stay tuned...

Choreographer Ganesh Hiwarkar recalls the time when his dear friend, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput had not only stopped him from committing suicide but also made sure his career as a dance teacher flourished in the city even when he himself was struggling in the industry. ## Speaking to IANS, the choreographer said that Sushant gave him emotional, moral, and financial support despite being a struggling actor and dancer at the time.## "This was in 2007. It was Sushant's idea to make a brochure for my dance class. I did not have much knowledge about these things at that time. I would normally run my class with just five or six students. Sushant was associated with Shiamak Davar, and he told this was not the way", Ganesh told.## "He told me I needed to advertise to get more students. He got Shiamak's brochure and calendar and showed it to me, saying this is how branding needs to be done".## "Sushant not only gave me the idea for the brochure but created it, too. I still remember he sat on a computer all night looking for a suitable name for my dance class, brochure design, and all that. The text was also planned by him, what to mention for kids, what to write to attract adult students. He also posed for the photographs that were printed in the brochure", Ganesh added.## The choreographer went on to inform how the cost for his dance class brochure was also borne by his friend Sushant, who himself was a struggling actor and dancer at that time.## "The cost of the brochure was also borne by him. I come from a middle-class family and could not afford to spend the amount at that time. It had cost him around Rs 15-20,000 I guess at that time. My fees at that time were 1000 rupees per student, one of them being Sushant. I had to survive on Rs 5000 in Mumbai, so I couldn't dream of spending on stuff like brochures", he said.## "He was struggling at that time but did not think twice before spending the amount on my brochure. Not only did he save me from committing suicide but he also made sure I focus on my career as a dance teacher. That was Sushant," Ganesh recalled.## He further recalled, "Sushant would take me on his bike, around the city to meet people. Sushant Singh Rajput's Life And Death Mystery Interest Filmmakers

Bollywood film industry has always been quick to make movies on the life of people from the entertainment industry or someone who can offer them a slice of reality for its fiction screen. In the past, movies like "Talvar", "Black Friday", "No One Killed Jessica", and "Main Aur Charles" have been made that grabbed a lot of attention. ## Keeping the trend continue, several filmmakers are taking a lot of interest and have announced projects based on the life and death of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput whose case is still under investigation, with new developments cropping up every day. ## According to IANS, the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) have been registered several titles to set up productions capturing the late actor's life and death.## Some of the titles around Sushant's death that IMPPA received for approval are (according to an IANS report), "Sushant Singh Rajput Biography", "Sushant", "Rajput: The Truth Wins", and "The Unsolved Mystery". This is besides three films that were already announced a while back, allegedly bearing a certain likeness with Sushant's life. These are "Nyay: The Justice", "Shashank", and "Suicide Or Murder".## Trade analyst Rajesh Thadani spoke to IANS, giving the reasons behind movies on real-life stories, "Real life stories are topical, with everyone having a high level of interest in these incidents. So, people try to come up with projects based on real-life cases and incidents. People just try to capitalize on that, and with lack of new stories, they look at real-life stories".## However, the list of projects based on Sushant's life, is lacking a Bollywood biggie, associated with it or backing it. As of now, these productions are being helmed by fringe filmmakers.## Explaining this, Thadani said to IANS, "The case is very controversial, and it is against the industry, what with the film industry getting a lot of flak in the case. I think that is why they are staying away from it, and others are coming forward".## Another incident that is attracting filmmakers is the gangster Vikash Dubey who was recently encountered by Utter Pradesh Police. The former girlfriend of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, actress Ankita Lokhande has lashed out at actress Rhea Chakraborty by saying would anyone, who claims to have loved someone so deeply, allow the other person to consume drugs claiming to know his mental state and condition?## Ankita took to Instagram and posted a long note in a bid to reply to all the haters. The Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association (IMPPA) has come out in support of the Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and has condemned the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for its demolition drive at the office building of the actress. ## In a statement issued to the media on Thursday (September 10), the IMPPA president TP Aggarwal said, "All these things are neither good for the government nor good for Kangana Ranaut. The action taken by the Maharashtra government or BMC is absolutely wrong and should be condemned".## "Although the court has stayed the demolition, BMC has already done what they had to do. At least they should have given time before demolition. You ask her what is wrong construction and if she had given the answer, they would have broken it if it was wrong.
