Mumbai, August 8 - One of the major films to compete during the crowded Independence Day 2024 weekend is Akshay Kumar-fronted comedy drama Khel Khel Mein. The movie is directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Wakaoo Films, T-Series, and White World Productions. ## With just one week left before the release, the makers have reportedly completed censorship formalities. It is learned that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has passed the film with a U/A certificate with an approved runtime of 2 hours and 14 minutes (134 minutes). ## Khel Khel Mein will clash with Shraddha Kapoor's horror-comedy Stree 2 and John Abraham-fronted action thriller Vedaa along with South Indian movies, Double iSmart and Thangalaan at the box office. Mumbai, July 27 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is gearing up to release his third movie of the year Khel Khel Mein. While the previous two movies, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira ended up with box office failure, the hopes have now been pinned on KKM to change the fate. ## Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Khe Khel Mein recently launched the first song and the makers are now gearing up to release the much-awaited trailer. Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' Release Date Locked

Mumbai, April 27 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar teamed up with director Mudassar Aziz for a comedy entertainer Khel Khel Mein which marks the actor's return to this space after nearly 5 years. The movie is said to be a situational comedy revolving around the lives of 3 couples. ## The shoot of Khel Khel Mein has been wrapped up and now, according to a report by Pinkvilla, the makers have locked the September 6, 2024, release date for the same. The movie also stars Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Amy Virk, and Pragya Jaiswal and will be released during Akshay Kumar's birthday week. ## "It's a situation comedy and the makers will open up the plot with their assets over the coming few months, leading to the theatrical release on September 6", says the report. ## Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar's next release is Sudha Kongara-directed, Sarfira, which is scheduled to be released on July 12. Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' Entire Cast Revealed

Mumbai, March 30 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar teamed up with director Mudassar Aziz for a comedy entertainer, titled Khel Khel Mein. The shoot of the film commenced in October last year and now, the makers have announced its wrap. ## Produced by Bhushan Kumar Krishan Kumar Vipul D Shah Ashwin Varde and Rajesh Bahl and co-produced by Shashi Sinha and Ajay Rai, Khel Khel Mein also features Taapsee Pannu as the female lead as she reunite with Akshay Kumar after Mission Mangal (2019). ## Apart from Akshay and Taapsee, the makers have revealed rest of the cast. Actress Vaani Kapoor reunites with Akshay after Bell Bottom (2021), and the film also has Ammy Virk Aditya Seal Pragya Jaiswal and Fardeen Khan, in prominent roles. ## Khel Khel Mein was shot in London and Udaipur. PEN Studio Announces Hindi Theatrical Release of Nandamuri Balakrishna's Blockbuster 'Akhanda'

Mumbai, January 4 - Director Boyapati Srinu's Telugu action drama film Akhanda, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna is all set to release in the dubbed Hindi version on January 20.## "Akhanda" was originally released on December 2, 2021, and went to gross over 100 crores at the box office. It is NBK's biggest grosser and now, the film is getting its Hindi release, more than a year after the original release. ## Film producer Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios acquired the Hindi rights. Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Akhanda' Sequel To Release In 2023?

Hyderabad, February 2 - Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna delivered the biggest hit of his career in the form of "Akhanda". NBK's third collaboration with director Boyapati Srinu hit the chord of the Telugu audience, which helped it to become one of the biggest hits of 2021. ## It was recently revealed that the sequel of this blockbuster hit was in development. Now according to reports, "Akhanda 2" is definitely on and will hit floors in early 2023. ## "The team will be bringing back the character of Akhanda in the sequel and this time around, he will be facing a bunch of new challenges in the socio-political context. There are multiple ideas to spin and the team will soon sit down to lock the draft for the sequel. The idea is to take in on floors in the first quarter of 2023", according to Pinkvilla report. ## Akhanda 2 will mark the 4th collaboration between the actor and director duo. Before "Akhanda", the duo collaborated for Simha and Legend, which were the mass blockbusters.
