Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' Sets Up An Epic Box Office Clash With Yash-Starrer 'KGF 2'
Mumbai, November 20 - Two giants of their respective film industries, Aamir Khan and Yash will be taking each other head-on at the box office after Khan's long-awaited "Laal Singh Chaddha" is pushed to April 14, 2022. The comedy-drama was supposed to release on Valentines Day next year, however, due to the long post-production requirement, the makers postponed the release by two months. ## Directed by Advait Chandan, "Lal Singh Chaddha" is an adaptation of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself is based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor as the female lead alongside Naga Chaitanya [Hindi debut] and Mona Singh. It will be a pan-India release, which will be debuting in dubbed versions of multiple languages including Hindi. The Prashanth Neel-directed period action film carries an unprecedented hype among the Hindi audience and it should give tough competition to Aamir Khan-starrer. ##
