Priyadarshan To Direct 'Hera Pheri 3' Featuring Original Cast

Mumbai, January 30 - In one of the biggest news of the year, director Priyadarshan is officially returning to direct the third instalment of the iconic comic caper, Hera Pheri franchise. He directed the original Hera Pheri (2000) and has been an absolute favourite of fans for the threequel. ## Hera Pheri 3 has been in demand for a long time and it was unofficially confirmed last year though there was no clarity on who would direct this hugely popular film. Well, this burning question finally got the answer when Priyadarshan, who is currently directing Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla, shared his willingness to helm HP3. ## On January 30, Akshay wished the filmmaker on his birthday, and in response, Priyadarshan thanked him and in return gift, he said that he was willing to direct the next chapter of the cult classic and tagged the original trio of Akshay, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal. ## Akshay and other Hera Pheri stars were quick to respond to the filmmaker and were delighted to reunite. Vikrant Massey As Antagonist In Ranveer Singh's 'Don 3'?

Mumbai, January 28 - Back in August 2023, filmmaker Farhan Akhtar announced the next chapter in the Don franchise. Ranveer Singh was confirmed to carry the baton forward as the next Don, replacing superstar Shah Rukh Khan who reportedly denied taking on the role due to some reasons. ## The casting of Ranveer Singh came as a surprise to many but the makers seemed confident about it. Now, according to the report by Filmfare, Farhan Akhtar has locked actor Vikrant Massey to play the antagonist role, which was unexpected. ## The report didn't reveal much about the casting except that Massey would be playing the role of a villain against Don who is himself an anti-hero. Yash To Start Shooting For 'Ramayana' In March

Mumbai, January 28 - Superstar Yash is busy shooting for director Geetu Mohandas' gangster action thriller Toxic which is the actor's first film since all-time blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2. The actor also has director Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana which has been on the floors since last year. ## In a recent interview, Yash confirmed his participation in Ramayana, not only as an actor but also as a co-producer. Now, according to the report by Filmfare, the actor will join the shoot of this epic by March this year. He will start with solo sequences in Lanka, followed by the Panchvati sequence. ## As already known to all, Yash is playing the role of Raavan while Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi plays Goddess Sita. Mumbai, January 27 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par is set to be delayed to the end of this year. Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the comedy-drama is one of the highly-anticipated Bollywood movies of the year and a potential big comeback for the actor after the debacle of Laal Singh Chaddha. ## Sitaare Zameen Par has been in production since early 2024 and was supposed to be released during Christmas 2024 weekend before makers postponed it to early 2025, but not anymore. Mumbai, January 25 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's aerial action thriller Sky Force witnesses a huge jump of around 70% on its second day, after a decent first-day collection of over 12 crores net, thanks to the big discount on online ticket bookings. ## According to early estimates, Sky Force has minted 21-22 crores net collection on Saturday. This is a very good collection as it has been noticed that the discounted offer, which was available on the first day of the instant online bookings, was partially opened on the second day. ## The total collection of the film is around 33+ crores net after 2 days. The movie is expected to see a further jump on Sunday, which also happens to be Republic Day as opening weekend is looking to be around 60 crores net which is fantastic. ## It might not have been possible for Sky Force to score this much collection with regular ticket prices from the opening day. Mumbai, January 16 - Actor Vicky Kaushal and director Laxman Utekar reunited for the historical action drama Chhaava, based on the life of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The actor plays the titular role alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale and Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb. ## Produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, Chhaava is scheduled to hit the big screens on February 14 as one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies. Mumbai, January 16 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has been busy with multiple hugely-awaited films, and one of them is the comedy-drama Son of Sardaar 2. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, it is the spiritual sequel to the 2012 blockbuster film Son of Sardaar. ## The film has been confirmed to hit the big screens on July 25 this year. The film will see Ajay paired opposite actress Mrunal Thakur for the first time after she replaced Sonakshi Sinha in the first movie. Much-Awaited 'Border 2' Shoot Begins; Release Date Re-Confirmed

Mumbai, January 16 - One of the biggest films in the making, Border 2 has commenced filming on January 16 in the scenic cantonment areas of Jhansi. The film is directed by Punjabi director Anurag Singh and is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Dutta, and co-producer Shiv Chanana. ## Bollywood star Varun Dhawan, who headlines this mega project with OG Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, joins the first schedule which is set in the highly secluded armed forces cantonment areas of Jhansi. Actor Saif Ali Khan Attacked At His Residence

Mumbai, January 16 - Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was shockingly attacked by an intruder at his Mumbai home in the early hours of January 16. The actor was stabbed six times and was hospitalised at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital, according to NDTV. ## Dr Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, said that Saif underwent a neurosurgery. The plastic surgery is still going on. Two of the six stab wounds are deep, and near the spine, said the statement from Lilawati Hospital. The actor is said to be out of danger, per NDTV report.## It is said that an intruder sneaked into Saif Ali Khan's house while he was sleeping. A scuffle between the actor and the intruder broke out and in this, Saif Ali Khan was reportedly attacked with a knife six times by the intruder who fled the crime scene. ## Saif Ali Khan's team has issued an official statement which reads, "There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan's residence. 'Gully Boy' Sequel In The Works With Different Cast: Report

Mumbai, January 14 - A sequel to the musical romantic drama Gully Boy is reportedly in the works without the original cast of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, and director Zoya Akhtar. The blockbuster film will complete 6 years on February 14. ## According to the Filmfare report, Vicky Kaushal and Ananya Pandey will headline the much-awaited sequel while Arjun Varain Singh, who previously helmed Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, will direct it.
